Living and working in London but both originally from up north, Fiona and Jack, who met when they both auditioned for the same band at uni (the band is still going and they have been making and releasing music together for their entire relationship!) planned a retro inspired wedding in Whitby. It's a place they have spent a lot of time in with family over the years so it was a very sentimental place for them to tie the knot. The autumn day started with a ceremony at Whitby registry office before a walk down to the seafront to play on to 2p arcade games and have their photos taken. The reception was then held at a recently reopened old church centre which they decorated and made their own.

Jackson and Erik gathered inspiration for their May 2020 wedding from two places - their international travels, and their favourite city, Chicago. Despite their original date falling slap bang in the middle of an international pandemic and most couples postponing, Jackson and Eric had a very important reason to keep to their plans. “The most important reason to keep our original date was to have our beloved and elderly doggo, Bessie, there,” explained the bride. “She walked me down the aisle and had a gold velvet collar that matched my gold and black dress perfectly!”

Vicky and Rich's magical festival wedding day was full of fun, colour and a whole lot of creativity. They had real life unicorns (OK, OK so Shetland ponies with horns on but same-same), Pimms on the lawn, a baby pink ice-cream van and delicious food served from some of Cambridge's most popular food vans. There was a colourful botanical theme to the decorations which were all made by the bride, her mum and the groom. Vicky's mum, who owns a haberdashery shop in Cambridge, also added some colourful personal touches to Vicky's tea-length WED2B dress.

When planning their August wedding, Hannah and Anthony decided they wanted to play up to the Great British summertime as well as their love of retro flair. The bride's step-mother made bunting, they printed seaside photographs of family members to decorate the venue and their cake was made to look like a sandcastle - complete with two crabs as a cake topper! On the tables they placed photographs of their dog, Wally, with seaside themed props. Even their rings were on theme - they were wooden rings by Hoot Cornwall, made using sand from Thorpeness beach.

Bryony said she always wanted to get married on their anniversary, so when she and James got engaged (on their 4th anniversary) and she realised that not only did their 6th anniversary fall on a Saturday but the date was 22/02/2020, it was settled! They opted for a celestial theme very early on and as shes not a fan of flowers, they didn't have any! Instead of floral bouquets and buttonholes, she made star and moon ones out of glittery card (which cost lest than £50 in materials!) She also made their cake and place names. Her dad made the moon photo backdrop and her mum made her iridescent sequined skirt using a YouTube tutorial!

If you’ve had to postpone your summer wedding until the winter, you’re going to love the festive inspo from Jess and Tom’s December 2018 celebration. The couple had been dating since they were teenagers and ten years later Tom proposed to Jess with the most perfect 1920s emerald ring. Zoe and Myles were in school together; they didn’t share any classes but knew each other through mutual friends.
