Inspired by their love of vintage and a rock n roll aesthetic, Corey and Elle’s March wedding was so authentically. In fact, nearly all their guests remarked it was exactly how they imagined the wedding to be! They lucked out with their venue - the Mobile Barber Shop Depot in Queensland - a warehouse space stuffed with vintage leather chesterfields, antique fabrics and unique brick walls provided the perfect starting point for their day.

When it came to choosing a venue for their October wedding, there was only one place in contention - Cottiers Theatre in Glasgow. “The venue really set the tone for our wedding,” Becky explained. “It’s a stunning old church in the West End of Glasgow, which is now a restaurant and theatre. I was the last baby to be christened there when it was a church so to us if felt like a no brainer that that is where we should get married.” It’s beautiful gothic setting with medieval vibes suited the couple - as lovers of autumn, they wanted an October wedding to make the most of the beautiful crisp nights that Glasgow has to offer and their children are Halloween obsessed, so they let all the kids change into fancy dress for the reception.

Their tables names were F.R.I.E.N.D.S themed, each table named after one of the characters with a quote from the show to make people laugh and Samantha walked down the aisle to a slowed down cover of the theme. They wanted it to feel a bit quirky, homegrown and to be as eco-friendly as possible, “We wanted the day to be as enjoyable, informal and relaxing for our guests as possible,” explained the bride. “We’ve had some great feedback on that front, which was lovely to hear!”
