Cat and Paul did things to suit them - completely. Not being a girly, girl or ever wearing dresses, two weeks before the wedding the bride decided to go with what made her feel comfortable. David and David met online in 2006. They chatted for a few days and then had their first date at a local tapas restaurant. They both studied at the University of Manchester, so they chose the Museum at the university for their wedding venue. It is an amazing Victorian gothic building, and whilst they didn't really want a 'theme' per-say, there was definitely a scientific and national history thread running throughout the celebration.Read more...

Ange and Glen's wedding day started with an intimate ceremony with just 25 guests at Cardiff City Hall. They then moved on to The Millennium Stadium in Cardiff for a Wales vs Argentina rugby match! Katie and Dan had a teeny tiny wedding (just them and their parents!) at The Summerhouse on the Millbrook Estate in Devon in December. Because they kept their guest list so small, they were able to do exactly what they wanted and to pull it all off for under £8000! Their smaller than average budget certainly didn't mean they had to compromise on the things that really wanted. Bryan and Brittany live in New York but were married in Oklahoma where most of their friends and family still live. They'd planned a very different wedding originally, wanting an all outdoor affair, but, just five weeks before the big day they realised it just wasn't going to work and they had to find another venue. Panic stations! Luckily, they came across The Womb art gallery, owned by Wayne Coyne, lead singer of The Flaming Lips. I have something really beautiful and unusual for you today, I just know you're going to love it! Kristin and Ky were hitched at Kanapaha Botanical Gardens in Florida. Their outdoor wedding was made as colourful as possible with the addition of paint... lots of paint! The bride wore a full face of geisha-style face paint, her dress was splattered with it (which she did herself), they painted each other as part of the ceremony and they had an artist on hand to do their guests too!Read more...

Carrie and Neil had a red and white wedding with rockabilly and polka dot touches! The day was held at Highbury Hall in Birmingham and was full of DIY décor. "We would like to think we were far more relaxed, friendly and laid-back than other wedding we have been to", began the bride. "So many weddings we have been to seem so stiff and uptight as a whole. We wanted a fun party atmosphere with a live band playing lots rockabilly, plenty of food for people to stuff their faces, and encouraged dancing until your feet dropped off. The wedding of Margot and Jared was held at Artwork Network, an art gallery in Denver. The ceremony was officiated by the groom's younger brother, Kyle. But this wasn't the only thing that made their wedding special, unique and personalised.
