If there's one thing I love more than anything else it's cats. I am a bona fide and unashamed crazy cat lady. I'm the one who'll say hello to the feline in the room before the person I'm actually there to see... So you can imagine my elation when Anita and Paul's cat/ music themed wedding landed in my inbox! These guys went all out, even so far as the bride and her bridesmaid's carrying stuffed cat toys instead of bouquets! And yes, the bride did throw her 'bouquet' at the end of the night. Being a wedding photographer herself, there was one big thing at the top of Kerry's wedding must-have list - a great photographer of course! They picked Sally T for the job and they all flew out from the UK together. They ceremony was held at the Chapel of the Flowers and was officiated by - who else - Elvis! Amanda and Briar were married at Ball's Falls Conservation Area in the Niagara Region of Ontario, Canada. Their ceremony was in the local chapel and their reception at a nearby barn. They were married on the beach at El Pez Tulum, a boutique ocean-front hotel, in Mexico. KO and Bre wanted their wedding to be a beachy pin up fairytale wedding and I think they achieved that wonderfully! The bride wore a vintage dress from the 1950s which she customised and had the skirt redesigned by Georgannette Chatterley. Her birdcage veil was also homemade.Read more...

From the bride in a denim jacket with a custom patchwork back and Dr Marten boots, the skinhead groom in a 3-piece tartan suit, and their kids rocking mohawks, it really doesn't get more authentic than this! Jo and Tony were married by a small lake on a friend's property in Denmark, on the south coast of Western Australia. The bride wore a dress from an op shop (she actually only decided the morning of the wedding what she would be wearing, after several changes of clothes!) and clear wellington boots! Ellen and Rory were married at Cottiers, a bar, restaurant and theatre venue in the West End of Glasgow. Their day had a bit of a Mexican fiesta feel with the oilcloths and paper banners from Viva la Frida. They also had hand stitched bunting and dried chillis hanging from the ceiling! Lauren and Ralf had a Dia de Los Muertos themed wedding in a goth club. Both the bride and groom even wore face paint! "Our wedding was unique not only because of the theme, location and decorations, but because we went with a mixed wedding party. I did not have a maid-of-honor; I had a man-of-honor. Ralf had a best man and a groomswoman. Also, due to the small size of our wedding party, we all go ready together in the same space at our venue. Adam and Meghan wanted to find a suitably Rock n Roll venue for their alternative wedding in Pheonix. After a long search they eventually came across The Duce which ticked all their boxes! "We wanted the wedding to let us shine through", began the bride. "We didn't want a particular theme. When we were looking at wedding venues, we wanted something that was already us. In Phoenix, there are tons of country clubs and botanical gardens. But none of that really fit who Adam and I are.
