If there's one thing guaranteed to make me smile it's a wedding featuring all the colours of the rainbow. It's nearly impossible for me to turn them down, hence why I share so many of them on this blog! Rosie and Robin's big day is no different. Held at the London Wetland Centre, a nature reserve in Richmond upon Thames, it boasts all the colours, amazing homemade decorations and a wedding dress made by the father of the groom!

I bet you've never heard a wedding story quite like this one! The groom, Steve, decided to surprise his British girlfriend by asking her to marry him while on a road trip from Nashville to New Orleans. He proposed on the banks of the The Angelina River and they were married in Austin four days later. The bride knew nothing about what was going to happen on the day. With the help of wedding photographer Katherine O'Brien, Steve planned the entire wedding himself, his bride just had to show up!

Siobhain and Ben wanted a fuss-free and relaxed wedding that they'd really enjoy. So they invited just 12 guests and planned the whole thing in only two months! "Planning a wedding in just two months was stressful at times", explained the bride. "Our guest count was only 14 people including Ben and I but it was perfect, I always liked the idea of having a small intimate wedding, it felt so much more personal, everyone was a part of it."

Bethan and Rob's wedding was held at The Eden Project in Cornwall. They took their inspiration from the domes themselves and the plants inside, creating a natural themed wedding with geometric accents. "The ceremony and reception were both inside the Mediterranean Biome in the Eden Project", wrote the bride. "Thematically we had nature, geometry (taking inspiration from both the biome’s hexagonal roof structure and plant life) and fun, with a hint of the mystical. We wanted to tap into our friends’ creative talents as much as possible to make it really personal."

Sharon and Matt's small Belize wedding at Honey Camp Ranch cost them just $5000. They avoided the usual trappings of a traditional wedding, instead choosing to do things their way. That meant everything was either borrowed, donated or homemade. The bride wore a custom wedding dress, made for her by her mother, and no shoes! She made the stationery herself and the flowers and reception decorations were collected from the local area.

Lindsey and Jason were married at The Red House in Cassadaga, in upstate New York. The venue really set the tone for their casual, DIY day. "Our wedding theme was laid back, bohemian, vibrant and eclectic", explained the bride. "Which truly reflected Jason and I. We really didn't stick to the traditional formalities when planning our wedding but instead we choose to personalize our day in a way that we felt most comfortable with."
