It's my favourite time of the week again and I'm always ready for a little treat aren't you? To stay with, I had to share yet another image by Kirsty Mitchell at the top of this post (she's got the top spot for a second week running now) as this simply is my favourite image I've seen all week. She sent it over to me a few days ago and it's well...just too damn wonderful for words isn't it?! First of all I have to start by saying O.M.G how awesome is this image sent to me by Kirsty Mitchell (and yes the bow was really that big) If you haven't seen her work before then go check out her Flickr - amazing doesn't even cover it! The make up was done by Elbie Van Eeden and I just loooove it. So what else has been going on? Well I've been frantically trying to get on top of all this bloggy goodness plus writing magazine articles (not that I'm complaining!) plus looking forward to the designer wedding show. Wow what an exciting weeks it's been so far. Not only are things hotting up (as ever) with the votes for the winners of the Kat Braman Free Photography Contest (if you haven't voted yet then go ahead and do it already!) but blog land exploded with excitement over my Vintage Boudoir shots with Julia Boggio. We knew they'd go down well but we never expected anything like the response we got. Thanks so much for everybody who commented on the blog, on twitter and on facebook. I read every single one and they all brought a smile to my face. Those who follow me on Twitter and Facebook will know I've had a rough few days of late. I've been letting things (or should I say certain people!) get to me and it must stop! Arrgh... so I apologise for that right now. However, in a much more positive vein, I am very excited to get going with this week's Thursday Treats as it always cheers me to share such internet wonderfulness with you all, my dear readers and loyal fans :P ♥ First off - erm..hello? How fabulous are the photos at the top of this post? It was taken by the amazingly fun, cool, quirky and chatty Leah McCormick who I was lucky enough to meet on a cold day in London just before Christmas. I took her for a walk around Soho and down Carnaby Street where she went nuts over the Christmas decorations. Well they are pretty gorgeous aren't they? ♥ 10 of the weirdest wedding invitations - I think they're all pretty damn cool actually!

Hello my dears and welcome to the first Thursday Treats of the new decade! Just as big, just as inspiring and just as fit to bursting with links and fun a-plenty. Let's crack on shall we? ♥ 2010 may only be in it's infancy, but it has so far been a very exciting year for Rock n Roll Bride! Not only was I featured in Cosmopolitan Bride, but I was lucky enough to be asked to model for the infamous Julia Boggio and her Vintage Boudoir series. I braved the snow yesterday and headed up to her Wimbledon studios for a day of fabulous retro hair & make up, styling to die for and to pose and pout my little ass off. I can not wait to share all the details and the photographs, but for now, why not check out my sneak peak shots that I took of (some!) of my outfits with my new favourite toy.

Oooh what a set of tasty treats I have for you this week. As ever, I have been blown away with the joy that blog land and the internet has spread this week. First off an extra special mention to Naz of Oliver Rue who sent me a little delight in the post in the form of some 'rockstar' magnets and the most adorable handmade card which is now adoring my fridge. I can not express how happy this package made me. I was having a really stressful day and getting home to a parcel wrapped in leopard print really made my week! {lookie!}

As you may have noticed I've tweeked the layout of the posts slightly this week. Now, you'll just get one preview image for each article and if you want to see the rest you just need to click 'read the the rest of this entry'. The idea behind it is to not only make the front page look a lot cleaner, but it means the pages will load a lot faster. My hubby/web designer was trying to make me cut down on how many images I posted to compensate for the slow page load time - now that wasn't gonna happen was it!? Apart from that don't forget that the awesome TokyoMade contest is still open. You have until tomorrow to tell me which right if your favourite and why. Come on, you know you want it!
