I have to be honest, when I received an email from Evelyn Eslava asking if I wanted to share a photo shoot featuring vintage dresses and horses I wasn't immediately blown away...I'm not the outdoors type should we say! But when she sent the images through yesterday, boy was I proven wrong? I am in love! Top secret news: Myself and my gorgeous hubby Gareth are doing a photo shoot this week (eek how exciting!) and we will most certainly be using these as inspiration - in fact I have already emailed this shoot to our photographer to check out. If only I can pull off that effortlessly chic vintage look myself...hum... Thanks to Evelyn for sending these over and to the models Lianna, Lydia & Lauren for being too gorgeous for words

Jalouse Magazine ‘Fake’ Wedding

So I did some hunting around to find out the true story of the fabulous 'Woodstock Wedding' that I blogged a few days ago. Turns out it was a 'fake' wedding and was set up as an editorial photoshoot for French magazine Jalouse...and the Bride & Groom - wait for it - were actually Mark Ronson and his girlfriend Josephine de la Baume! Don't be too sad though as I have found more photos and a super kitch, uber retro feeling behind the scenes video!

So I don't usually post a selection of photographers work, preferring to focus on one wedding, engagement or photo shoot instead of a bit of a mish-mash. However I believe I am able to make an exception for Lara Jade. The twenty year old (yes I know!) fashion photographer from Tamworth, UK is quite frankly so inspiring and talented that she really deserves every single image of hers to be posted. Lara's fashion and editorial style is second to none. Just check out these images and tell me you're not in love with them? This is something a little different for me to post but when I saw Rosie Parsons' last few 'detail shoots' I fell in love! The Bristol - based photographer has a great relationship with some fantastic local vendors, from Clara Bows who rents and sells gorgeous vintage crockery, to local florists Bella & Fifi with whom Rosie spend the day dashing around the city delivering blooms in an adorable eco-chic piaggio. Finally I had to share some photographs from Gilly Woo, a good friend of Rosies' 30th birthday a few weeks ago. The birthday girl is also a ridiculously talented dress maker and so not only are the images pretty damn stunning but how retro chic gorgeous is the her sparkly gold vintage glam dress? It's nice to break away from all the weddingness sometimes and just spend some time enjoying some non wedding inspiration and Taylor's senior portraits fall smack bang into this category. I'm sure it's pretty obvious why I love these - the colours, the contrast and her gorgeous retro rockabilly style - she has got that pin up thing down to a tee with her fluttering eyelashes and her matt, crimson lips. A lucid ballet of light, colour and fabulous fashion, these shots just make me want to dress up in a bright yellow 'cage' dress and get my pose on! Models Rene, Lauren (who actually made the yellow cage) and Tara (of Trigger Happy Photo) seriously rocked this shoot - stepping away from any fancy frou frou weddingness in favour of playing along in their very own circus act of colour, experimentation and edgy fashion.
