Much like with regular fashion weeks, bridal fashion weeks take place twice yearly all over the world. New York Bridal Fashion Week has got to be one of the best, and we were so thrilled to attend the Fall 2024 presentations. From catwalk shows to private viewings, drinks receptions to brand-new boutique openings, we certainly got our steps in!

n Roll Bride Live has just taken place. It was a truly fantastic day, full of the most incredible suppliers, couples and speakers. The energy in the room was electric. People whooped, cheered and cried during the talks. There were tarot readings, people doing nail art and the queue for the photo booth went half way cross the room.

With 200 attendees, 25 exhibitors, 10 inspiring speakers and three packed-out workshops…this wasn’t a wedding show – it was so much more than that! Our attendees flew in from Austria, The Netherlands, Germany, Sweden and came from all over the UK to descend on Hackney Town Hall for a magical day of connection, inspiration and making new best friends.

Bethnal Green's Town Hall Hotel is a real hidden gem. From the original art deco interiors, the dramatic marble staircases, original wooden panelled rooms and their very own ceremony chambers, its the perfect spot for the wedding of East London-loving urban dwellers. The entire place has been sympathetically restored in its original art deco finery so stepping through those grand front doors really is a little bit like stepping back in time.

Going to your first wedding show can be a daunting experience. However, if you’re properly prepared and you go in with an open mind they are really, really fun! One of my very favourite alternative wedding shows is The Eclectic Wedding Extravaganza which is taking place on March 16th & 17th in Birmingham. I’ll be there signing books and showcasing our brand-new veil collection with Crown and Glory (it’s the only wedding show you’ll be able to see these beauties in-person this season) so I hope to see lots of your beautiful faces there!

I have been a massive fan of Tatty Devine ever since I discovered them as a teenager. I dreamed of one day being able to adorn myself daily with all their pretty plastic creations. That love affair has continued well into adulthood and the Tatty pieces I own will forever be some of my ultimate faves. So when the babes at Tatty Devine got in contact to ask if I wanted to visit their Brick Lane store to do a Halloween themed jewellery making workshop it felt like all my Christmasses had come at once.
