It's an undeniable cliché that I love all things surrounding weddings: the love, the family, the pretty dresses, the flowers... but I also love to hear the real stories behind these magical looking days. It's all very well and good sharing the perfectly edited highlights online, but what really went down? Were there injuries? Was one supplier an utter nightmare? Did someone jump on a bouncy castle and end up with a bloody nose? Well, actually, now you come to mention it...Read more...

Kirsty met Oz when she went to work in his tattoo studio. "We're both tattoo artists and after several months of working together it became apparent that we were meant to be together", she told me. "Two years in, Oz popped the question. We spoke about our big day regularly, and we saved and saved like mad. After 12 months we decided to bite the bullet and book a date and venue. We continued to save and had some generous donations from loved ones to help us on our way."Read more...

Baby always wanted a Hello Kitty themed wedding but her fiancé, Simon, wasn't so keen on the idea! Instead she added a few subtle touches (like her adorable bouquet) to their July wedding, while the rest of the styling suited both their tastes. "Baby wanted just a Hello Kitty theme, but I wasn't too chuffed about it, so it ended up as a mix!"Read more...
