Fay and Michael met in the most bizarre way - they were set up by Michael's ex-wife! After 10 years together they decided to get married and wanted their wedding to be an eclectic mix, representing all of their passions and loves. They included ballroom dance, costume, circus, art, festival, sugar skulls, Tim Burton and vintage influences. They also wanted it to be an opportunity to show off their creative artistic flair to their family and friends.

There's one thing you're all going to notice right away with this wedding - the brides amazing, and enormous, flower crown! I mean, wow! The best part is she made it herself. "After being quoted different prices from several places, my sister and I decided to give it a go ourselves", Robyn said. "We ordered the artificial flowers online and bought a headband from Claire's Accessories. After a few nights of pinning and gluing, on occasions having to de-glue our fingers and thumbs from the headband, we finally mastered the skill of using a glue gun and the headpiece was complete!"

Charlotte and Jack's wedding had a really unique location - Southend Pier! The day had a retro theme with Disney references throughout. "Our wedding theme was 'Grease meets the Great British Seaside!'", said the bride. "We were inspired by lots of wedding blogs, especially Rock n Roll Bride! We saw so many couples who had a day that reflected them and that's what inspired us to plan a wedding that people would describe as completely us. Also, we saw so many weddings that looked like they and the guests were having a total blast, so we wanted to have a day full of fun!"

They flew over to Las Vegas to elope, but Sally and Stuart still wanted a party back home in Birmingham to celebrate with their loved ones. "Our wedding was themed around kitsch, Vegas and movies with cheesecake", said the bride. "We had a Las Vegas elopement on Valentine's day because we visited the travel agent on a whim during Christmas and found ourselves with six weeks to organise our outfits! We got married at The Little White Wedding Chapel by Elvis. Our friends and family watched over the internet and when we got back, we promised our family and friends a party so we wanted to bring a bit of Vegas to them."

The Wellbeing Farm in Lancashire was the perfect venue for Christie and Kurt's informal wedding. They have a colour scheme because they wanted something more organic and mismatched. "We tried not to have a proper theme as we thought more mismatched would be better", said the bride. "However a 'no theme' theme was pretty impossible because when you start buying you naturally gravitate towards similar things."

Laura and Jack's pub wedding was low key, laid back and colourful. They didn’t want to be restricted by one particular colour or style, we they included a bit of everything they like. "For inspiration I looked online and in magazines but mostly everything looked quite boring, until I found Rock n Roll Bride!" said Laura. "So I did take lots of inspiration from the website and magazine but mostly we just winged it and picked things we liked."

Laura and Dom got engaged at the Grand Canyon while on a trip to Las Vegas. As they both love the city and 1950s glam, they decided that should be their wedding theme. Laura wore a red wedding dress, and they had a polka dot theme for the bridal party; the bridesmaids wore 50s style polka dot dresses and the groomsmen had polka dot pocket squares. For entertainment they had casino tables, a pianist, and Laura did a choreographed dance with her dad.
