Lizzie and Nick were halfway to planning a traditional white wedding when they decided to do a 180 and decided to get hitched at Glastonbury instead! They wanted to create a joyful, silly, stress-free celebration of their love that they’d remember forever, and choose their happy place their location. Armed with £1000, they did the admin part in London the morning of the wedding and then hotfooted it down to Somerset to have a friend officiate a ceremony that they wrote themselves.

Tori and Richard didn't have lots of extra cash to drop on their May wedding, so instead of going into debt they simply decided to make peace with it and to plan the wedding they wanted within their £4500 means. They sold things they no longer needed (like fancy silverware that they NEVER used or even looked at) in order to raise the funds they needed ("It transpires we wanted a wedding DJ more than a canteen of fancy spoons!") We are ALL about this attitude here at Rock n Roll Bride by the way!

Meet Tesni and Andrew: Married on May 4th, they had small touches of Star Wars throughout the day, but also included their other favourite movies and novels (lots of Terry Pratchett!) in the table names and decorations. The pregnant bride chose to wear blue as a nod to their son who was due two months after the wedding… And, even better, she found it for £500 in a closing down sale!
