Well you lucky lucky things, have I got some adorable images to share with you today, starting with Jenna & Mike and their way-too-frickin'-cute park/picnic/vintage bike/doggie/awesome tattoo themed engagement session. The couple are getting married in September and the phenomenal Love Me Do photography will be doing the photographic honours (I ♥ them!) but for now, be patient and enjoy these gorgeous engagements shot by Melissa Rae Kurzenski. As photographers, Emmy & Aaron are more comfortable being behind the camera then in front, but for their one year anniversary (this week!) they decided they deserved some gorgeous photographs of their own! Emmy told me the whole story: When we took a little anniversary trip to a cabin on Cowichan Lake (Vancouver Island BC Canada) I pulled my dress, by Demetrios, out of the closet and took it with us. We had a great little cabin on the beach and there were some other perfectly decayed old buildings on the property including this great lime green shed. The owner expressed some concern that we were making photos in front of "the biggest eyesore on the property". I think that old shed is perfect!. We met over a conversation about our shared love of photography. Pretty soon we also loved each other and now we love making photographs together. We can't believe how lucky we are that we found each other and that we both have the same passion. I don't let him shoot me that often - I like being behind the camera as much as he does - but putting that dress on tends to let you become somebody else for a while. Doesn't hurt that its my hot hubby behind the camera! Everyone should do this on their anniversary – let those dresses out of the closet girls you look fabulous in them and they want to be seen! You don't have to be a photographer just head out and have some fun! I LOVE my dress and it was soooo much fun wearing it again!! Credit: E/A PhotographyRead more...

Chad & Erin of Fuller Edge always choose the most awesome locations for their shoots. With Angel & Craig, who rocked their wedding with skull cufflinks, converse trainers, a pink wedding dress and adorable pink and green details (clicky here for the full set), Chad & Erin took them to a junkyard for these fab shots. I am loving the use of water and the texture in every single image. Wonderful! Thanks to Chad & Erin for sending these to me. I always adore their work! Credit: Fuller Edge PhotographyRead more...

I really need to be lying down with some honey and lemon and watching trash on tv as I'm sick...grr I don't do well when I get ill - boredom is not my Forté. I just had to drop by and share a few little images from this Russian engagement session entitled 'Sunset Love Story.' Totally beautiful huh? It's hard to choose, but I think the 'red heart lollypop' one has got to be my favourite. Too gorgeous! The photographer, Mukhina Ekaterina, will actually be touring the states in October/November of this year and would love to meet and photograph some rock n roll couples. Drop her an email if you're game! Until tomorrow, when I hope to be feeling less vile and able to share all the amazing weddings I've been sent over the weekend (I swear...they are all amazing!) Chris & Todd had two reasons to celebrate on their wedding day as Chris was 7 1/2 months pregnant! Her gorgeous dress and bolero were custom made by Elizabeth Dye and complimented her baby bump beautifully. I hope I look this radiant if I ever have kids. The couple incorporated everything they love into the day, as photographer Heather Hawksford described it - 'canoeing, horseshoe, croquet, Pete Krebs Trio, The Dickle Brothers, cowboys & rockstars chatting over homemade beer' Sounds perfect huh? New Yorker David M had the oppotunity to shoot a gorgeous Polish couple on his home turf. He explains: My dear friend Adam Ludwik has spent over a month visiting America for the first time. He is one of Poland's best wedding photographers. You can see his work at his website and blog. Right before he left to photograph another lucky couple on Polish ground I had a chance to shoot his clients Agata and Alfonso right here - in our old good New York. We have visited a few very familiar locations and tried to put a new spin on them. As always, thanks to David for sharing these stunning images and speaking of New York, have you voted yet for your favourite's to win the 'we fell in love in NYC' contest yet? Boy, is it hotting up over there!Read more...

As soon as these images landed in my inbox early this morning I was desperate to blog them right away! First off the couple are ridiculously beautiful (but that, of course, goes without saying), secondly I have never seen such a gorgeous set of images where it is just the two of them, no barriers, no props, just the newlyweds being themselves. In fact I'm not even sure I've ever seen an 'in bed' style shoot used as part of a day after session. I love it. The photographs are so intimate and so personal yet done in such as way that there is no element of sleaze...I don't even feel voyeuristic looking at them They really are just art. Art and love. We then move onto the bulk of the shoot, where living in Odessa, Texas (a place where there is apparently 'nothing ') doesn't seem to have made these images anything less than breathtaking. The train, the graffiti, the river, the tree. The gorgeously intimate style continues only this time with a back drop that tantalises the senses all by itself. If this isn't enough for you, then be sure to check out the couple's wedding too! A huge thank you to Chelsea for sending me these exclusive shots (oh yes, exclusives make me happy!) As trash the dress goes, it doesn't get much better than getting in some water and thrashing about in your gown. Yes, it's been done and we've seen it all before but who cares? You'll have a hell lot of fun and get some awesome photographs to boot! Thanks to the ever so gorgeous Tab for sharing this session. Mwah! Credit: Tab McCauslandRead more...

Blaine & Shanni didn't have a day after shoot, but after two years of marriage decided it was about time to do so and who better to shoot them but Shanni herself - she is after all the most rock n roll photographer they know. The couple love to go for Sunday drives and Shanni had always wanted to shoot a couple at this dried up riverbed, so why not us?! she told me - why not indeed. Credit: What Shanni SawRead more...

I am really feeling the Holga love right now and when I saw these I knew I had to feature them as soon as possible. Shooting a wedding with a toy camera must be a precarious and slightly unnerving job (what if the film doesn't load? what if the photos turn out badly? what if I loose the film? eeek!) but photographer Daniel Krieger appears to have got his skillZ down and pulled this one off seemingly without a hitch. These images are just making me even more excited about getting my very own piece of plastic joy soon..ahh the light, the texture, the soft focus - swoon! Daniela & Chris got married at the ridiculously stunning Mohonk Mountain House. Have you ever seen a location so picturesque? Daniela's beautiful dress is the Fontaine wedding gown from J Crew and she is actually selling it right now on Craigslist. It's a size 4 and you may well be able to snap it up for yourself (if you're quick!) you lucky lucky things. Daniela has also shared a few little tips of her own: Enjoy every minute and roll with it. The quirks of your wedding are what will make the memories that much better. On our day, it was so cold that the ipod playing the bridal march (dum, dum, da dum) froze (literally!) and the audience had to hum the music. Couldn’t have asked for anything better!! Thanks so much to the brilliant Daniel Krieger for the photography, and the couple Daniela & Chris for allowing me to share their day. Credit: Daniel KriegerRead more...

I was lucky enough to meet both Eliza (the photographer) and Ly (the model) who sent me this trash the dress session to me a while back on a now rather infamously drunk night out in London! I can safely say the fun and frolics you see below perfectly reflecttheir slightly mischievous personalities. Isn't the shot with the sun coming down just phenomenal? ...and the deers are just amazing, you don't get this is California! If you would have told me six months ago that I'd be getting submissions saying 'I shot this session with Rock n Roll Bride in mind' I would have said you were totally nuts. In fact I still think you're a bit nuts but I guess that's beside the point. Keira & Dan had a super cute session with Studio Nouveau. The vintage camera, the bright blue wall, the awesome trilby hat - yes I love it all. You've gotta watch the slideshow as well because I just can't get enough of this wonderful stuff. Thanks to Lara & Kate of Studio Nouveau for not only thinking of me, but for being super duper adorable. Credit: Studio NouveauRead more...

Looks like Ella & Ben had a great time during their engagement session with Razvan of Razvan Photography. The session took place in a teeny tiny town called Kalkaska which is defined as a 'trout town' due to the huge trout festival that happens there every year - who knew?! Thanks to Razvan for sharing these session with me and I look forward to seeing their DIY laden wedding after it happens in August. Credit: Razvan PhotographyRead more...

Rock n Roll Bride seems to be going all continental today, Ukrainian photographer Nikolay Kucan is up next. Due to the whole language barrier thing I'm afraid I don't know anything about this wedding, but when Nikolay sent me an email with just a link to these images I still felt them worthy of a post. I love her cute short/long dress, the picturesque town location (is it just me or does it almost look like a movie set?!) the fairytale feel of the photographs in the woods and the Bride rocking out with buskers on the street. They look like they had an absolute blast... I only wish I could share more with you.Read more...

These stunning engagements were shot by the oh to fabulous Axioo Photography - photographers extraordinaire from Jakarta, Indonesia. I am loving all these images because theytell a story.
