Ben and Rosie's fun-filled July wedding has a summer festival and retro kitsch vibe. "Above everything, we wanted our day to be fun," said the bride. "It hard to pick one theme because it just turned out being everything that was rattling around in my brain! However we were inspired by the 1950s and 60s and anything cute and handmade."Read more...

Oh Danni and Ben, your wedding gives me LIFE. I am so excited to share it on the blog today. This gorgeous heavily-tattooed pair were hitched in Maidstone, at a venue called Kent Life. "Our wedding theme was a bit of a mixture of 1950s, rural farm life and a tea party!" said Danni. "We love the 1950s anyway, I have a huge collection of dresses already and we just love the music and the dancing. I really love that our wedding was personal to us and wasn't generic."Read more...

Running your own business is probably one of the best things ever, but the fact that you don't get a Christmas party along with the rest of society is very sad indeed! So my fellow self-employed babes and I are planning on throwing our own cocktail, cava and Mexican food shindig this weekend. It's going to be epic and of course there's only one thing on my mind... finding a brand new outfit!Read more...

I'm always so impressed when I hear that a bride made her own wedding dress, I mean damn girl, that's some skill! When Tess married James she knew she wanted to have a go at making it herself so she'd have something completely one-of-a-kind to wear.Read more...

Lauralei and James, known to friends and family as Frog and Weasel, were hitched in St Ives in June. They rented a gorgeous cottage for the week and were married on a Wednesday. Their ceremony was held at St Nicholas Chapel and they had lunch at The Rum and Crab Shack where they had a huge crayfish buffet for everyone to dig into. Finally, the evening reception was at Porthmeor Studios, a mid-century built artist studios.Read more...

Claire and Lou wanted a relaxed wedding that all their guests would enjoy. "The inspiration for our wedding came quite naturally", Lou told me. "All we wanted was to feel comfortable in our outfits and for our guests to feel comfortable too. We wanted people to socialise as much as possible and for everyone to have an amazing time with us. We wanted a nice flow on the running order and our priority was to ensure that no-one was hanging around waiting for the next part of the day feeling hungry or bored!"Read more...

Andrew and Caroline had an eclectic themed wedding in a tipi on a farm. They knew exactly the kind of wedding they wanted and they hired fantastic suppliers to bring their ideas to life! "Our wedding was a gorgeously unique quirky vintage wedding with boho vibes and laidback funkiness!" explained the groom, "After our church ceremony we had our reception in a tipi at Bassettwood Farm in Tissington. We looked at many venues but the farm was perfect for the kind of wedding we wanted.
