With a theme of red string, and a nod to Corpse Bride, Anna and Dani's day felt more like a gathering of artists, misfits and rebels than a wedding. Anna told us, "We spoke about getting married for the first time while we were in Morocco last year. As we were finishing, we were playing with the red wires holding the bags of flatbreads together, bent them into rings, and went on to wear them for weeks until they broke. They would be replaced with red string, and later, red line tattoos. We later found out about the red string of fate story which says you have a string running from your heart, out of your finger, connecting you to your soulmate."

Hosted at the Yoghurt Rooms in East Grinstead, the couple’s “Happily Ever After Party” brought together 80 friends and family members for a weekend of camping, music and fantastic food. Ben even designed a custom logo which graced everything from the temporary tattoos to high-vis jackets and was even stamped on empanadas! In fact, the event felt more like a real music festival than a wedding.

On September 7th, surrounded by just 42 of their closest family and friends, they were married at the church in the Lost Village of Dode, a historic site which is 900 years old (and was abandoned over 600 years ago!) The couple drew inspiration from its medieval architecture and pagan history to craft a celebration that blended old-world traditions with their own personal touch.
