Erin and Tony met 10 years ago. He moved in to her building as the on-site caretaker and when Erin went to pay her rent that month she was met with a very handsome, topless man! It was a hot day and she actually though she was a friend who was popping over. I guess after that there was no going back! They couple got together soon after and married in NYC this January.Read more...

Happy Sunday one and all. I got back from my Vegas trip yesterday afternoon and I'm up early and raring to get back to work. I don't know about you, but as much as I love to travel, I almost love to come home even more. Getting back into your routine after a week of excess is quite the simple pleasure! I'll be writing a much more detailed post all about my trip stateside soon (I have some epic Vegas recommendations for those of you that might be getting married or honeymooning there) but for now I wanted to close the week with yet another beautiful wedding.Read more...

Bronwyn-Sara and Jesse were married at Red River Valley in Tennessee. "Tradition is the last thing that describes what Jesse and I wanted", the bride began. "We drove my mother-in law-crazy with our ideas. We threw tradition to the side and did our own thing with our thrift store purchases and last minute planning!"Read more...

Jamie and Mat's intimate wedding was held by the marina in Carins, a tropical paradise in the north of Queensland. Their ceremony was right by the water, and their reception was held at Salt House restaurant. "We met while I was working at the Cairns night markets airbrushing hats", began the bride. "I noticed Mat walk into the markets and prayed he didn't come to my booth as I was covered in paint... but over he came to order some hats. I stumbled through conversation with him, discovering we were both originally from the small rural town. It was definitely lust at first sight! Two weeks later we went on our first date and we haven't spent a single night apart since! He proposed after just three months and we were married three months later!"Read more...

Being big foodies, Billy & Laura knew they wanted to serve up an amazing feast at their wedding. But they wanted to do it in their own way, so a Full English Breakfast it was! "Overall we just wanted our wedding to be the best party anyone had ever been to", wrote the bride. "We wanted great food, music and laughter. We definitely wanted our food to be different as we’d attended 8 or 9 weddings the year before and had (albeit very tasty) the same meal over and over."Read more...

Over the next week I'll be recapping some of my favourite posts from the past twelve months, so this is the last real wedding feature of the year! Er where has the time gone please?! But believe me when I say we are going out with a bang. Claire and Stephen's wedding is not only beautifully modern and glamorous, but the way it was photographed by CG Weddings has blown my mind. I love all this creativity and this wedding might just be the epitome of Rock n Roll Bride!Read more...

Kelli and Chris were married in the bride's father's backyard. They wanted their wedding to be super colourful, super laidback and themed around their love of Mexico. Mission accomplished! "I must admit, in the beginning I was all over the place with wedding ideas and styles", began Kelli. "I wanted rose gold and pewter... then a garden theme.... then shiny things... then burlap! I had looked at WAY too many Pinterest boards and was suffering from total wedding ADD. I knew I wanted to be true to myself and have a ton of fun, but never in my wildest dreams did it even come close to reality."Read more...

The gorgeous, heavily tattooed Jacinta married Paschal in July in Ireland. "We met through music and going to festivals", wrote the bride. "This is where the inspiration for the cake topper came from as we were known as 'two peas in a pod' because we were so similar. It was more about our mutual love for music at that stage, but soon a fabulous romance blossomed."Read more...

Now this, my friends, is what being a Rock n Roll bride is all about. It's not about flowers, or favours or a fancy wedding venue. It's not about what you wear, who your bridesmaids are or what theme you have. Being a Rock n Roll bride is about doing your own thing, marching to your own beat, and saying "I do" in a way that feels right for the two of you. That's exactly what Rob and Edie did which is why I'm so excited to share their wedding with you today.Read more...

Rachel and Steve didn't want to spend a huge amount on their day. They had a £10,000 budget but actually managed to come in way under that! Their biggest savings were the bride's shoes (Primark!), the 'cake' (Krispy Creme doughnuts!) and by doing all the décor themselves.Read more...
