Nina and Zakk were legally married in Sweden, where the bride is from and the groom works as a tattoo artist, but also wanted to have a celebration in the UK, where the groom grew up. Despite living in Sweden for the last few years Zakk has a lot of family and friends in the UK so having a second celebration on Zakk's parents' property made a lot of sense. The location was a sprawling, beautifully maintained stretch of land that boasts a duck pond, tree house and playground - perfect!

Heather and Riley are met in Afghanistan in 2013 when they were both deployed to Kandahar from their respective countries (Riley from Australia and Heather from the US). At the time of their wedding Riley was still deployed in Iraq and flew out to Vegas for their ceremony! He then had to return to Iraq immediately after their honeymoon, just two weeks later. They wanted their wedding to be a bit of old Hollywood glam mixed with some of their favourite things including tacos, Harley Quinn, the Joker, Batman and tattoos!

Meghan and Brendan met through their love of tattoos: Brendan was Meghan's tattooer! They really wanted their wedding day to feel like them; alternative in style but also to reflect their kind, soft and gentle sides. They described their theme as vintage with a bit of steampunk and, for décor, they incorporated different metals, lanterns, marquee letters and piping mixed with lace, tulle and soft flowers. It was soft, but edgy. Just like them!

Boudoir shoots are nothing new. Hell, I had one when I was engaged in 2007 (and no I'm not going to show you them!) While lots of brides might consider doing them, I'd have to hasten a guess that a lot of you reading this might have dismissed the idea as something silly, vein and super embarrassing. While in 2007 the main marketing push for boudoir photos was an "a gift for your man" (vom) ten years later and I'd still like to encourage you to consider doing one, but as a gift for YOURSELF.
