When we first laid eyes on these photos, we were convinced it must be a staged photo shoot, real weddings aren't this perfectly pretty are they? But no, this was Ashley and Graeme's actual wedding! They described their dreamy and intimate summer celebration as bright, colourful, fun and relaxed, with their inspiration coming from mermaids, unicorns, rainbows, and a whole lot of pretty.Read more...

Betsey and Jimmy have been BFFs for well over a decade. After meeting through friends, and after dating for three years, they decided to make it forever. They were married at Hibiscus Coffee & Guesthouse in Florida, that had a really casual, backyard feel and in total they spent just $5000.Read more...

Pippa and Dean's didn't set out to have any theme for their Sheffield wedding last November, but by just choosing things they liked (gothic elements, skulls, Rocky!) they ended up with a glam goth theme with a few surprises. Their first dance was to the Hokey Cokey and their 6 minute firework display almost ended in injury, but it was the most perfect day... and they pulled it off for under £5000!Read more...

Adina and Richard did what many modern couples do these days: They legally married a few days before so they could really design a day that was truly them for their second ceremony. I mean, when you have a wedding that features piglets, your serve burgers for the meal and you have your cute dog following you down the aisle, you're always going to have an amazing wedding! In fact these two wanted their Frenchie to feature so much in their wedding that they had French Bulldog themed cake topper and they put her face on all the table name cards!Read more...

If you look up Rock n Roll in the encyclopaedia of life, you might just find a picture of this couple and their wedding. Eloping to Las Vegas from Australia, and donning a bubblegum pink dress and a sharp suit, Amie and Ben said their 'I dos' on a dry lake bed, before eating at a burger joint and finally heading off to get tattoos. Romantic, sexy and effortlessly cool, or what?Read more...

They hoped their summer wedding would be relaxed and informal, but they still wanted to put a lot of effort into the decor and theme, so Trish and Steve chose things they liked (rainbows, Disney) and their starting point and then took everything one step at a time.Read more...

It’s not everyday that you get a first look involving a unicorn mask, but for Stuart and Angelica that was one of their must-haves – and quite rightly so. Their July wedding, described as “casual unicorns” with a dash of Scottishness, was organised in three months, and mostly long distance across the Atlantic too. Despite that, it also features a secret Alice in Wonderland twist and some pretty incredible gothic architecture too.Read more...

Megan and Ben's autumnal wedding took place at stunning Puzzlewood in the Forest of Dean, where Star Wars: The Force Awakens, was filmed! It's also rumoured to have inspired J. R. R. Tolkien. Huge cool points from the get-go! Getting the legal bit sorted in the register office the week before freed the couple up to take full advantage of this amazing location, and also to have long time friend of theirs, James, officiate.Read more...

Anneka and Stephen wanted a vintage inspired wedding after the bride picked out her stunning 1930s dress. They used gold accents everywhere, also inspired by what the bride wore. They also spent just £4000, wanting to prove with their wedding that you don't have to spend a fortune to say "I do!"Read more...

The key words for this wedding are light, magic, and style. With their guests dressed in black, and the couple both in designer label white, plus having Mount Etna and the sea as their view, Giuliana and Buccio pulled off a frankly stunning looking day.Read more...

Lenore and Liam's wedding day was a celebration of all things industrial as well as showing their love for Sheffield, the city in which they live. They had lots of motifs and nods woven cleverly into almost every aspect of the day, including little bottles of Sheffield's own Henderson's Relish as place names and making their own wedding rings at CAST, combining the bride's late mother’s ring, and a gold bracelet from Liam’s mother.Read more...

Amanda and Edward’s wedding was 1920s art deco themed with a gothic twist! They had three separate venues so their guests could walk about and experience the beauty of York, but they wanted their reception to be intimate and have a Peaky Blinders family gathering kind of vibe. They had a small room with dimly lit with candles for their 30 guests.Read more...

I was trying to figure out how to best start 2018 with a BANG, wondering what would be the perfect post that would start as we mean to go on for the year ahead... And then I laid eyes on Suzi and Ivan's fantasy, fairytale and UNICORN THEMED WEDDING and the decision was basically made for me. This has to be one of the coolest weddings I've seen in a long time! They got tattoos, the bride wore a floral purple dress and they even a real life unicorn for goodness sake. Oh and very the best part? The whole wedding only cost $1500 (AUD). Truly incredible.Read more...

Pixie and Jak didn't want to spent a huge amount to get married, so planned a wedding to reflect their love of pirates (the groom) and gothic elements (the bride) with a budget of £7500. "In the early stages of preparing for our big day, we decided to do it all ourselves", said Pixie, "which meant that we could get the style that is personal to ourselves. It also helped us to keep within the budget."Read more...
