Markéta and Sam said "I do" within the Ruins of Castle Košumberk in the Czech Republic. Their colourful theme represented the two of them, and overall their theme was love and hearts! "We love colourful things and bright styles so our theme for the wedding could be called a heartfelt kaleidoscope meets 50s twist and shout!", Markéta said. "Hearts were easy. I love Melissa shoes and I just loved my wedding shoes. When Sam proposed I ordered them just two days after. They have a big cute heart and so we decided a heart theme for the whole wedding sounded good.

Stephanie and Sebastian travelled from their home in Germany to have a teeny tiny elopement ceremony on a dry lake bed just outside of Vegas. The bride wore a homemade dress and headpiece, and she arranged her own bouquet with flowers from Whole Foods. They brought lawn flamingos as décor and Mexican blankets to use as props for their photos.

No joke, these babes are some of the nicest human beings you will ever meet. For years now they've been the go-to store for vintage wedding dresses, and in 2013 they expanded their range to include made to measure designs. All lovingly handmade in Britain, they wanted to be able to help every bride, whatever her shape or size. They love their vintage gowns, but with vintage sizing being stingy at the best of times, it was really hard for them to cater to anyone over a size 12.

These guys went all out, even so far as the bride and her bridesmaid's carrying stuffed cat toys instead of bouquets! And yes, the bride did throw her 'bouquet' at the end of the night. An usual wedding theme perhaps, but Antanas and Kristina knew exactly what they wanted for their Lithuanian wedding. "The first part of our theme was cherries", explained the bride. "Two red ripe cherries joined together, what better symbol of partnership? Red also means strong and passionate love. The sweetness symbolises happiness and the joined top symbolised commitment and togetherness. It became our logo for all of our stationary and guest favors. It was the background detail for the whole event."

Carrie and Neil had a red and white wedding with rockabilly and polka dot touches! The day was held at Highbury Hall in Birmingham and was full of DIY décor. "We would like to think we were far more relaxed, friendly and laid-back than other wedding we have been to", began the bride. "So many weddings we have been to seem so stiff and uptight as a whole. We wanted a fun party atmosphere with a live band playing lots rockabilly, plenty of food for people to stuff their faces, and encouraged dancing until your feet dropped off. The word 'formal' never entered our vocabulary."
