Victoria and Matthias were married in in Braunschweig, Germany. Their wedding had a distinctive 1960s vibe to it. "We had peachy, cream and gold colours", the bride said. "Our inspiration was the fashion and music from the early 60s, as well as scenes from The Virgin Suicides. I especially the colours used in the film and the homecoming scene. I also looked at actual wedding pictures from the 50s and 60s. I particularly love Priscilla Presley's wedding day look!"

Rayana and Guilherme's Brazilian wedding was full of glorious details! "We wanted to have a big party with everything and everyone that makes us happy", began the bride. "Weddings in Brazil are usually too formal and full of traditions that don't have much to do with us, so we decided to do only the things that made sense. We had a religious ceremony because it was important for my family, but we also wanted the party to be fun and full of unusual details. Raisa and Maite, two creative and edgy girls from Holland and Germany, were married outside in August. "The overall theme was a vintage and 'til death do us part," they said. "We also had touches of a festival theme and lot of skulls and skeletons in all the props, stationery and on the cakes. We tried to make it as colourful and fun as possible. Maite has a thing for skeletons and skulls, and Raisa loves festivals and the circus so we wanted to mesh the two together."

"I originally wanted a ceremony at our house, but there was no way we could fit everyone, so we brought elements of our home to the venue", Amy said. "We both love mid-century ascetics, but didn't want it to be too kitschy or overdone. One guest described it as 'if Wes Anderson remade Steel Magnolias' which is a fantastic compliment if not just a really, really good idea."

"Geoffrey and I had both been sent to the tiny coastal town of Prince Rupert, BC for work", Karly explained when I asked her how they met. "We were set up on a blind date in the fall of 2012 by a mutual friend. Six months later we were shopping for a house together. I was a bit of a hippie wild child and never would've seen myself ending up with a policeman, but he is just so wonderful and we fell in love so quickly and easily. We got engaged in January 2014."
