Carly and Charlie wanted a woodland wedding with lots of details. They didn't pick out a theme really, they just chose things they liked. "When we started to think about the type of wedding we wanted we agreed we wanted a relaxed day, nothing to stiff or formal", said the bride. Seth and Lauren's wedding had a laid back vibe, a budget of just $4000 and lots of lovely homemade details. They planned the day in just three and a half months with lots of help from their friends and family! "I love gold and feathers", said the bride. "I had seen some gold tipped feathers and I took that as our initial idea and ran with it. I have also done some events at work where we covered the tables with butcher paper and used very simple yet beautiful decor like succulents, twine, and tins. It all fit together very well."

Firefighter’s Wedding in South Africa

Nicola and Joe were married at Mountain View Farm in Cape Town which is a five minute drive from where the bride's parent's live. The couple now live in Abu Dhabi but wanted to return to the bride's home for their wedding. "Our wedding was loving, full and chilled", the bride explained. "We live in the UAE so this was a destination wedding for us, even though my family still lives in South Africa. Joe is from England and so we had a big crowd of our friends from the UK and Abu Dhabi too. As Joe is a firefighter we had to do some photos in the local fire station!"
