Enchanted Brides

May 22, 2018

There's a special place in Lora and James's hearts for December 21st as it's the date James officially asked Lora out, and four years later on that same day he proposed. So of course it had to be their wedding day, too! They eloped on their fifth anniversary and married in Cornwall. The whole day was about them just being together and really feeling the love. Also there was a cat at their wedding, which we know you will just love!

Simon and Jodie's midsummer wedding was the best kind of mash-up that brought together all the things they love. Taking place by a beach they surf in Cornwall, the bride described their day as, "Very us – Marvel, surfing, travel, beach, colourful and uncouth - we first danced to I'm a Believer by the Monkees and ended the night crowd surfing." Judging by the crazy amount of glee you can see on everyone's faces, they pulled off an absolute cracker of a day, and all for a budget-friendly £6,000.

Brook Rose

April 24, 2018

Violet and Jacob didn't choose the plant life, the plant life chose them. And that's why their super chilled Brighton wedding day was a totally vegan affair with tons of gorgeous donuts, pizzas and other goodies. They married in a low key, intimate ceremony with just 35 guests at Brighton Town Hall, with part one of their reception following in the coffee shop where they first met. By approaching their styling in a laidback way and their family and friends all pulling together to provide various services, they managed to create this gorgeous day for under £5,000.

Matt Parry

March 22, 2018

OK full disclosure: I’ve lusted after this wedding ever since I saw it on the incredible Matt Parry’s Instagram last summer. From the brief preview shots he posted of Becky and her black-clad bridesmaids posing on the steps of Preston Court to the handwritten flow chart table plan, it was obvious it was an incredibly special day full of laidback love, laughter, and some legendary stories. Nearly a year later, this has been confirmed, and it’s with total GLEE that I’m writing this up…

Charlotte and Ben's first attempt at planning their wedding ended up being an exercise in pleasing other people, which didn't work out as you can't ever keep everyone happy. Sadly, they decided to cancel the wedding. However, not to be defeated, they gave it a second bash, and this time jetted off to Las Vegas with their closest family. The bride said, "It was a tough call, but ultimately the right decision. And this time around, we just did whatever we wanted. No overthinking or worrying about other people’s opinions. Our true inspiration was to get away from the stress of reality! Where better than Las Vegas!" Add in an Elvis officiant in a gold jacket, and I say where better indeed!?

A Glittery, Feminist & Vegan Wedding in London

Rachel Webb

Marianne Chua

October 16, 2017

Steph and Dan wanted their wedding to be a lovely relaxed day turning into a big kick-ass party later on! They broke lots of traditions (no cake cutting or first dance) and made choices to reflect their feminist outlook. They included speeches from the bride, mother of the groom and the bridesmaids, got ready together in their own apartment, had their first look together at home and walked down the aisle together. Instead of their first dance, had a Jagerbomb toast to open up the dance floor!. With 115 guests, it was the biggest round they'd ever bought!

Colourful & Casual September Wedding

Rachel Webb

Bless

April 11, 2017

Amy and Patrick had a very short engagement; they decided in April that they would get married in September! They wanted their wedding to reflect who they are, to be at a beautiful venue, and have amazing food and great music. It was also important to them that it was a relaxed, casual day that included all their guests. They decided to source and plan it all themselves, to make it truly reflect 'them', which also meant they could tweak things and push more money into the 'guest experience'.
