Arianna and Nate were married in their backyard in Oakland, CA, by an Edgar Allen Poe impersonator in a faerie garden meets gothic disco-style wedding. The flowers were designed to make guests want to frolic through them, but had moss-covered skulls, disco balls, disco mushrooms, and crows hidden throughout. They were married on 4/20 so also leaned into the vibe and had a bud-bar serving pre-rolls, canna-cocktails and edibles.

I was trying to figure out how to best start 2018 with a BANG, wondering what would be the perfect post that would start as we mean to go on for the year ahead... And then I laid eyes on Suzi and Ivan's fantasy, fairytale and UNICORN THEMED WEDDING and the decision was basically made for me. This has to be one of the coolest weddings I've seen in a long time! They got tattoos, the bride wore a floral purple dress and they even a real life unicorn for goodness sake. Oh and very the best part? The whole wedding only cost $1500 (AUD). Truly incredible.

Hannah and Ben's wedding was inspired by fairy tales, Halloween and Bram Stokers Dracula! Their day was ethereal dark and romantic, with little touches of macabre beauty. “My veil had tiny gold bats embroidered onto it and there were gold spiders on the flower girls bags,” began Hannah. “Later in the day we went on a vintage tram ride with accordion players followed by a boat ride with a saxophonist. We didn’t tell our guests beforehand so it was a nice surprise for everyone.”
