This April wedding was a strong female-led affair with both brides being walked down the aisle by their mothers and the cake and flowers being made by Carleigh's. She even surprised them by putting pictures of some of their favourite people on the bouquets - those that had either passed away and were unable to attend their special day. They were always going to elope and luckily, even though a lockdown was imminent, Jodi and Terry were still able to go ahead with their intimate March wedding. They'd booked into have their quicky ceremony at Garfield Park Conservatory in Chicago (which was free!) and a friend, who got ordained especially for the event, hosted the proceedings. They had no guests at the ceremony, which was always their plan. They really didn't want a big wedding or any fuss. The idea was for it to just feel like a fancy day out.Read more...

Jen and Chris eloped on October 31 in New York City. The day was filled with cute personalised touches with an almost whimsical and almost fairy-like aesthetic. Micaela and John knew they wanted to tie their wedding in with a three week trip of the US, but beyond that, they were easy! “We originally thought we’d rock up to a Vegas chapel,” explained Micaela, “but I was not like most brides and planned everything last minute. A week before the wedding I was going to book the chapel and found out that the ones we were interested in charge extra for bringing your own photographer, which we had not budgeted for, and they charge a lot for a 10-minute ceremony anyway!
