Vasilia and Joe's wedding had an old timely feel. It was held in a friend's back garden and all their guests dressed in their 1920s inspired finest! "Before we started planning, we sat down for an hour or so and each quietly broke out our thoughts for every aspect of our vision", said the bride. "We quickly realised that we had very similar, if not the same thoughts on almost everything. I can’t say that anything in particular inspired us other than our desire to make a unique experience for our guests that showcased our personality and taste, without the regular formality and stuffiness of a wedding."

Allison and Cameron's colourful wedding took place in Austin in October. They wanted a simple, low-pressure day, with minimal stress. "Cameron and I honestly never wanted a wedding", said the bride. "I get anxiety when I throw an event, and I am always worried if everyone else is having a good time that I forget to have a good time myself. However, since our mothers would never forgive us if we didn’t have one, we decided to do it our way. We wanted something low-stress and intimate, where we could mingle with all the guests and have a great time."

Al and Tony both love the sun, so they decided on a destination in Ibiza. "We are both sun-worshipping beach bums", the bride said. "I grew up in Australia so the beach and the sea is in my blood, and Tony spent his younger years backpacking and chasing the summer. We go to Spain for a summer holiday every year and Ibiza is a special place for me due to it’s spiritual flavour, so it was the obvious choice for our wedding."

They met whilst both studying at Oxford University, so when Xandra and Steve got married that's where they wanted to do it. "We met at the Oxford University Mountaineering Club during our undergraduate studies," said the bride. "We had just moved to Edinburgh, so our initial plan was to have the celebrations there. Because we were not too familiar with the city, we found ourselves looking at wedding-packaged things, which felt too traditional. We eventually decided on Exeter College as a venue because it is a special place for both of us. From there, every detail had to feel awesome; I wanted every penny to support a business that I truly believed in and loved."
