Planned in just six months, the couple wanted a day that played homage to the art deco styling of their venue and the season in which they said their 'I dos'. WOW. OK prepare yourself, because this is a wedding you are going to pay attention for. Burners Yoshi and Gilles chose their favourite place in the world to say their vows - Burning Man! In total they spent just $2000 on the day (not including their tickets because they knew they'd already be going). Apart from their outfits (which the bride made) their photographer, some champers and a homemade cake, they really didn't bother with anything else!

Hollie and Adrian wanted their wedding to feel relaxed and just really chilled out. They decided to host their reception in their own back garden which meant they could do exactly what they wanted. The ceremony was held in their local parish church, just a stone's throw from home, which they decorated with all the flowers and foliage! In fact the flowers ended up being their single biggest cost of the otherwise DIY wedding, but they provided exactly the look they were after for their day.

For their May wedding they really wanted to amp up the Texan vibes so hired a ranch in Austin and set about making it their own with DIY decor extravaganza! The dress code for their guests was western themed and people arrived in their finest bolo ties, cowboy boots and hats! Meet Tesni and Andrew: Married on May 4th, they had small touches of Star Wars throughout the day, but also included their other favourite movies and novels (lots of Terry Pratchett!) in the table names and decorations. The pregnant bride chose to wear blue as a nod to their son who was due two months after the wedding… And, even better, she found it for £500 in a closing down sale!
