This roller derby bride (who met her friend and photographer Lilly whilst playing roller derby for the Rat City Rollers in Seattle) married her long term boyfriend at a 1920's/1930's Bonnie & Clyde inspired wedding in Kubota Gardens, a Japanese garden in Seattle. The entire wedding party was in vintage 1930's garb, as were many of the guests. A getaway car in the form of a 1930's hot rod was provided by a good friend of Randi and Todd's: Jerry Chinn, who is a local prop house owner and collector of vintage vehicles. He was kind enough to pull over a couple of times so the photographer could get some really great shots of them with the car. The reception was at a neighborhood watering hole called Calamity Jane's where jambalaya and collard greens were served and square dancing ensued

It doesn't get more Rock n Roll perfect than this! Sommer & Dan's wedding took place in an old mill is Somerset, New Jersey which is owned by Dan's parents. The bride wore a 1950s prom dress from Ebay and snakeskin Kate Spade shoes. The groom rocked it in a custom suit with spiderweb lining and the bridesmaids looked the part in leopard print shoes. To top off the day, Bruce, the family pet rooster, served as ring bearer and apparently he did a great job! Thanks to Siobhan for sharing this awesome wedding with us...Ooooh I adore my readers! Well people, hold on to your hats and prepare yourself for another bumper day of Rock n Roll goodness. Did something magical happen overnight or something? I have received a ridiculous number of amazing photo sessions and weddings this morning - I just hope I can bring them all to you soon! Starting off today is this gorgeous 'sugar and spice' rockabilly couple. She's a ballerina, he's a total petrol head (I think in America you call them 'gear heads'? - whatever, he is nuts about cars!) Cassy & Kelly headed to pier 39 in San Francisco with photographer Marin Kristine to get these amazing carousel/carnival/fun fair shots. Although Tiffany & Alan are technically already married, they never ha d a 'proper' wedding and so decided they needed to do it all again - only this time better! The couple, who already have a 4 month old baby (you would never guess after looking at the teeny tiny Tiffany - erm wow hot mama!) will be re-tying the knot next month and I can not wait to see the results!

There is just something about Ashley & Tyson that I can't get enough of. Ever since I received these images from photographers J+C Photography I haven't been able to keep my eyes off them. The couple chose cars to be the main feature of their shoot. They started with a Ford Fairline but when the classic Chevy pickup pulled in they switched vehicles immediately!

Rachel & Geordie are a little bit too gorgeous to keep to myself and the orange motif that runs throughout the images - from her shoes and flowers to the Mini (bought by Rachel's Mother a week before the wedding!) and the JCB (!) - is just too damn awesome. The wedding took place in Rachel's parents' back yard and really had the stylish vintage vibe going on. Rachel's stunning 1920's inspired dress was custom made by her good friend (and clothing designer) Mireille Stettler and Geordie complimented her perfectly with his casual look. Yep, Meghan's trash the dress/bridal shoot pretty much rocks. She actually had the session over a year after she married JP because she really wanted to do something a bit more 'outthere' in her dress (which is gorgeous by the way and made by Demetrios.) Her natural skills and comfort in front of the camera combined with her glorious wedding dress and awesome personality made for one of the most enjoyable shoots I’ve ever done. We started out in downtown SD on the prowl for some graffiti, we lucked out when we found an old parking lot with a sweet car and bright graffiti. She was willing to try whatever we suggested with a smile on her face the entire time (like hold a sign on the side of the freeway…..Meghan, did I mention I love you? It’s true). After downtown, we went to Ruby’s Diner where her and JP had their first date…..I remember walking through the mall where everyone was staring at us, and I ask Meghan, “do you feel uncomfortable with all these people staring and pointing?” her answer? “I LOVE IT!” Which made me love her. After Ruby’s we headed to our house for some night shots, where Meghan displayed her magical powers (check out the last picture and you’ll totally understand). Meghan and JP, we had such a great time with you and I can’t wait until we hang out again very soon. In the meantime, I’ll be watching for you on America’s Next Top Model!!!!! The Story Of The 75 Cent Dress

I was in love with this wedding as soon as I laid eyes on it, I fell even more head over heels when I found the Bride's adorable vintage fashion blog, but I was completely besotted when I discovered she paid 75...yes 75 Cents for her dress! Tell me more!I hear you cry. Well the gorgeous Solanah explains her little treasure hunt: Tagging along to garage sales with Josh, Amy, and Oliver usually results in Legos and Star Wars picture books. But over a year ago, one stop at a church rummage sale proved an unbelievable find. I got armfuls of vintage goodies like hankies and a Stetson hat for Sam, but while I was waiting for everyone else to finish looking, I thought I'd take a shot at the glum looking clothing rack, full of dresses too new to be vintage, and too old to be interesting. I had passed it about a dozen times, but it looked so pathetic that the effort to stop and browse seemed like a waste of time. In the middle of the rack I came across an awful looking gray garment bag with a torn piece of masking tape stuck to the side that had “Old wedding dress” scribbled in sharpie. So I unzip it a few inches expecting an 80s monstrosity and instead get a preview of beautiful vintage cream lace. Although I had only seen a few inches of it, I grabbed the garment bag, threw it over my shoulder and waddled over to the payment table with everything in my arms, and Stetson on head. It seemed like it would be an old dress, all torn up from age and poor storage, but at least I could salvage the pretty lace for a project, right? The two old men at the payment booth were obviously put up to being at the sale by their wives, and looked as clueless as could be. I dumped everything on the table which they added up, but then came to “Old wedding dress.” “Oh there was no price on that” I said. They looked at it, then squinted at a piece of paper tapped to the table that had price categories listed. “Well…here it says: Dresses, 75 cents.” “75 cents?” “Yeah is that ok? “Um, yeah…” We paid and loaded up the car, with Legos and old stuff, and kept on treasure hunting at other garage sales. A few hours later when I got home I was eager to see more than five inches of this dress. Taking it out of the bag did not reveal the tattered mess I expected but something stunning and flawless. Layers of tulle and lace, rows of covered buttons, and even a matching veil and armlets. But would it fit? I slipped it on, and realized that it must have been somehow made for me 60 years ago, because it fit like a glove. Upon inspection I could not find a single snag in the tulle, or hole in lace. It was perfect. And that is how I got my wedding dress for 75 cents. I am so in love with this couple and I am so excited to be able to share there beeeeautiful wedding with you all! Layered Grey Tulle

Right my lovelies, prepare to be wowed. I discovered Amanda & Jeffery's wedding when browsing Etsy for a tutu no less. I found seller Monique Martinez of Ouma Clothing who made Amanda's GORGEOUS layered grey, tulle dress and immediately knew I had to try and feature this wedding! The Bridesmaids were treated to similar dresses (but each with their own individual twist) from Ultra Suite and Jeffery and his boys wore suits from Req Square in Queens Plaza Brisbane. The Austrailian couple had their ceremony at the ultra modern Brisbane Powerhouse New Farm and choose local buskers (who were only 16!) to perform the music. Their reception took place at River Room Southbank. Jeffery's family come from Thailand, so in order to incorporate this into their big day, the couple infused their wedding with a beautiful Asian colour scheme. The wedding day was rounded off by a 80's disco that went on late into the night. Thanks so much to Amanda & Jeffery for taking the time to share their gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous day with us! You may have seen a few a snippets of this wedding gorgeousness on a number of other blogs, however I've gotta go that one step further and get you the full scoop on the wedding behind these glorious images. Katie & Nathan's wedding took place in the Groom's parent's back garden. They decided on a simple yet stunning green and white theme which was perfectly reflected in their surroundings. Katie's dress was a vintage find and Nathan wore a suit from Zara. Unconventionally the couple had their reception they day before their ceremony. They decided they would rather have a full day to perfectly engross themselves in their temple wedding without feeling at all distracted by the craziness of a reception to follow. Nathan said: It worked out perfect for us. Party hard the night before, and enjoy the simplicity of the temple ceremony with family and close friends the day after. Highly recommend it. A huge thank you to Nathan & Katie for allowing me to share their wedding. Suicidal Bride!?

I love this shoot and I love the inspirational Bride in her 'something blue' Doc Martins, but more than that I love the story that goes along with this set. Photographer Jennifer Williams explained: The highlight of the shoot has got to be being pulled over by the Kern County Sheriff! Heather and I took a few shots at a bridge. Little did we know what a scene it would cause. When I left Heather sitting at the bridge while I went to get the car (her shoes were cute but not so comfortable) people called in reporting a suicidal bride getting ready to jump! Lucky for me, the sheriff thought it was really funny. When I explained we were doing a photo shoot, and there was not a run away bride wasn't about to jump off the bridge, he sent us on our way.

Kirsten & Josh’s wedding not only had a fun, retro feel, but they really went all out with their 1950’s diner theme. I am crazy in love with the Brides entire outfit - from her Dorothy ruby slippers to her cute polka dot dress made by her Mother and friend Marnie Rogers, who designs clothes for Wintersun. The gorgeous Bridesmaid had a rockabilly style to them - especially their amazing hairdos! For the reception, the couple went all out for a 50's diner theme, where they designed and made everything themselves. The centrepieces were giant lolly jars and each table had a different type of old school lolly, which was the name of the table ("Sweethearts" "Milk bottles" "Ice creams" "Jelly beans" etc) The place cards were black & white candy striped lolly bags with everyone's names on them, each painstakingly tied with little red ribbons. The placemats were old records that they picked up in an op shop and they had little gifts for everyone on the table - mini erasers in the shape of burgers, fries, hotdogs and donuts, plus vintage metal wind up toys. Each table also had a diner style spring loaded napkin holder, salt and pepper shakers and tomato and mustard bottles. Then best of all, for dinner they served burgers, hotdogs, pizza and fries. I bet their guests were thrilled - no boring wedding food for them! The celebrations continued into the night with the couple having their first dance to 'I remember the Bride when she used to Rock n Roll' by the Stray Cats, finishing the night by swaying along to 'Earth Angel'. I am so over the moon to be the first blog to bring you this amazing wedding. Paul & Cassie's day really couldn't be anywhere but Rock n Roll Bride though surely? From her cute cute dress, to their kick ass tattoos - from the simply sweet ceremony site (just plastic chairs and autumnal leaves) to all the adorable personal touches (I am crazy in love with their thumb print wedding tree 'guest book'.) There is in fact nothing I don't love and I could go on with a big old list of everything I am swooning over right now. However it's probably better for me just to share the photographic joy oui?
