Hannah and Mike postponed their wedding by almost a year due to COVID, finally tying the knot on April 3rd 2021. Although they organised most of it last year so weren't totally sure how much they spent, they know they wanted to keep the day affordable, with their only big cost being entertainment - in fact it was most of the budget! The groom works in the wedding industry so was able to call in favours and have friends make the food and cake, they didn't bother with centrepieces or flowers and they asked their guests to bring their own drinks.Read more...

The split their photos between a tropical rainforest greenhouse, to represent Tyler’s hometown of Cairns, Australia, and the old town of Coburg, Germany for Vika’s hometown. Brittany and Joseph didn't really set a budget for their September elopement, but as soon as they found their photographer, Henry Tieu, on Pinterest, they decided they would spend whatever it cost to have him shoot the day. If the pandemic has taught us anything it's that low key can still be really lovely! For Sabrina and Chris, who got married a few weeks before Christmas, this was absolutely the case. Gema and Matt's original wedding was June 7th, on their five year anniversary, for which they'd planned to wed in New York City, honeymoon in Kuala Lumpur and Bali and then have a big pub reception back home afterwards. It was due to cost them £25k but when Covid scrapped those plans they took the opportunity to re-evaluate everything.
