Brittany and Joseph didn't really set a budget for their September elopement, but as soon as they found their photographer, Henry Tieu, on Pinterest, they decided they would spend whatever it cost to have him shoot the day. Keeping things small and COVID-safe kept all the other costs down anyway. They also hired Rain and Pines to help organise the day, do the décor and officiant the ceremony.Read more...

Getting married during Covid certainly made for unusual circumstances for Ruth and Ricci’s October wedding, but for them, it only made it feel more special. “I love the photos of us and our guests with masks on,” Ruth told us. “It captures how much of an odd year it’s been, but it didn’t stop us from doing what we set out to do.”Read more...

If the pandemic has taught us anything it's that low key can still be really lovely! For Sabrina and Chris, who got married a few weeks before Christmas, this was absolutely the case. They had a Registrar's Office ceremony, followed by a quick pitstop in Starbucks to call some loved ones who couldn't be there, rounding the evening off with a meal with their two witnesses at the bride's sister's house.Read more...

Like most couples who wed last year, Kayla and William had to make some big changes in order to have a small pandemic-friendly wedding. They were originally planning a big, country club wedding for August, which has now been postponed to 2021. However as the pair have lived apart for 4 1/2 years of their five year relationship (the groom lived in Ohio and the bride in New York), they just wanted to be married already. Their kiss after the ceremony was the first time they had kissed in over 200 days!Read more...

Lexi and Tom chose Islington Town Hall and Green Rooms, a local bar/ hotel, as the locations for their November 2021 wedding. It was important to them both that the day was as stress-free and fun as possible so they decided to ignore the traditional timeline and do an evening-only wedding with their ceremony at 5pm. They got ready together at home with their mates, wore coordinating pink outfits and matching Adidas sneakers, walked down the aisle to KC & Jojo and had a reading from Fleabag.Read more...

Gema and Matt's original wedding was June 7th, on their five year anniversary, for which they'd planned to wed in New York City, honeymoon in Kuala Lumpur and Bali and then have a big pub reception back home afterwards. It was due to cost them £25k but when Covid scrapped those plans they took the opportunity to re-evaluate everything. Although they still plan to have another big wedding next year, they really didn't want to have to wait a whole year to be legally husband and wife.Read more...

With a budget if $5,000, Andrea and Stacey - who met online in 2018 - planned a completely DIY, June wedding in their own back garden. As parents themselves, Arron and Casey based their wedding around how they felt when they took their kids to other peoples weddings. “I wanted everyone to feel comfortable,” the bride explained. “It didn’t matter to us if children were running around crazy, in fact we put everything into making it the sort of atmosphere that our friends and family would want to bring their children along to.”Read more...
