Leeanne and Zak wanted a DIY wedding in all senses of the word. Initially they weren't even going to have a professional photographer, but thankfully some friends convinced them otherwise! While this was a bigger expense than they were planning, they were able to counterbalance that with lots of savvy money saving options. The bride's dress was £29 in the Monsoon sale for example! Their ceremony was at Leeds town hall and their reception at Thwaite Mills, an industrial museum, also in Leeds.

With just a few guests and $7000 to spend, Joanne and Paul planned their travel themed wedding at Wakarusa Historical Museum. "The inspiration for our wedding was 'love is a journey' and nostalgia", said the bride. "We both love to travel, hence the train station location. Our unique flowers were made of old maps and we had suitcases and atlas jars with candles. We also had lots of globes and vintage cameras. We were married in the waiting room of the train station."

Jeffery and Amanda eloped at Woodland Cemetery and Arboretum in Ohio. They had just their close friend Andrew as their officiant and his wife, Brittany, as their witness. "We chose our ceremony venue as the gazebo at Lookout Point, the highest natural point in Dayton, OH", Amanda explained. "We picked it because of the abundant vegetation, beautiful architecture, and sentiment. It's the burial place for my mother so it meant a lot to us to be married here."
