Robyn and Ash were legally married in Vegas at the Chapel of the Flowers but they wanted to host a big party when they got back to Yorkshire for all their family and friends. The party had a really low key, retro and kitsch vibe, hosted at their local community centre. The flowers came from a local flower market, the cakes were from various supermarkets and the stationery was made by the bride. Instead of a fancy meal they served wood-fired pizza and the night ended with - who else? - an Elvis impersonator!

Kerry and Dan didn't have a pre-determined theme, they just wanted to include little bits of everything they love. Little nods to lots of different elements came together to produce a wedding that felt totally 'them'. Violet and Jacob didn't choose the plant life, the plant life chose them. And that's why their super chilled Brighton wedding day was a totally vegan affair with tons of gorgeous donuts, pizzas and other goodies. They married in a low key, intimate ceremony with just 35 guests at Brighton Town Hall, with part one of their reception following in the coffee shop where they first met. Lovebirds since just after high school, Gabi and Jacob, also known as Stinky and Barnes, married at home on Little Belly Farm in the coolest most laidback ceremony that shows what might happen if an art gallery met a music festival. There was tons of DIY done by their friends - even down to having their guests bring their own food and booze. Because of this generosity, the day only cos the couple $3,000. Their friends loved that it was more like a big party where the couple happened to be getting married rather than a straight-up formal wedding too!

April 15, 2018

Laura and Chris wanted to create a warm wedding that they knew all their guests would love, and their autumnal Scottish celebration was just that. They wanted lots of red, orange and yellow, and they had floral pumpkins, fairy lights and leaves everywhere. They served a hog roast for the meal and had lots of candles in their architecturally stunning venue. It ended up a bit Hogwarts-like, in a wonderful way!

When it comes to bridal fashion, I think it's safe to say that in a lot of instances, there's a lot of the 'same old same old' about. So when I see a bride rocking an outfit that is truly unique, and a proper representation of her everyday style I get very excited indeed. Enter: Jamie and Frank and their  incredible elopement! Both motorbike obsessives who wear denim day in day out, it was the obvious choice for their wedding day too! Both of them wore double denim, the bride in all-white and the groom in all-black!
