Charlotte and Jack's wedding had a really unique location - Southend Pier! The day had a retro theme with Disney references throughout. "Our wedding theme was 'Grease meets the Great British Seaside!'", said the bride. "We were inspired by lots of wedding blogs, especially Rock n Roll Bride! We saw so many couples who had a day that reflected them and that's what inspired us to plan a wedding that people would describe as completely us. Also, we saw so many weddings that looked like they and the guests were having a total blast, so we wanted to have a day full of fun!"

Lynette and James' wedding was quintessentially 'them'. They were married with just the bride's brother, the groom's mum and their two children as guests. Their son wore a dragon onesie and their daughter fluffy ears and a tail. The bride wore leopard print leggings under her dress. After their short ceremony they all went to a local restaurant for lunch together.

Shoshanna and Zak's brightly coloured, boozy, big kid wedding took place in Brighton in March. They set a budget of £4000 but actually managed to spend a bit less than that. Their reception venue was free! "Our reception was at OhSo Social on Brighton beach and it was FREE! We paid them £1500 for food and drink but they then deducted what we actually spend and gave us the rest back - amazing saving!"

Al and Tony both love the sun, so they decided on a destination in Ibiza. "We are both sun-worshipping beach bums", the bride said. "I grew up in Australia so the beach and the sea is in my blood, and Tony spent his younger years backpacking and chasing the summer. We go to Spain for a summer holiday every year and Ibiza is a special place for me due to it’s spiritual flavour, so it was the obvious choice for our wedding."
