If you want to see some of the most beautiful floral details and centrepieces ever plus some pretty damn stunning beach portraits then you've certainly come to the right place! Meghann & Edwin planned their Steampunk-Victorian-Beach-on a budget wedding with help from all their friends and family - DIY was the name of the game! I am totally in love with all their decor ideas and the beautiful floral details - this wedding proves that you can make anything look bloody amazing if you have the time and patience to do it yourself. They spent only about $200 on flowers and decor and went to The LA Flower Market the day before to get the blooms. Meghann explained:

I have featured the work of Marina from Red Heart Photography a number of times recently, every time she sends me something I am stopped in my tracks! Christina & Justin had a personal ceremony in Kona (it was just the two of them - you can't get more intimate that that!) and then followed it up with an amazing photo session with the lovely Marina. Oh..just wow. As soon as I laid eyes on Cameron & Mike I knew I had to feature them on Rock n Roll Bride. Can you blame me? Cameron looked just like a movie star and Mike looks so in love it can't help but make me smile! Mike, a tattoo artist in Florida even proposed to Cameron by tattooing 'Will You Marry Me?' on his chest? Freakin' awesome or what?! That's some serious commitment - he must have been pretty sure she would say yes

Erica & Simon had a Hawaii wedding fit to bursting with gorgeousness. Erica's stunning dress was flown all the way from England (woohoo) for the event and was custom made for her by her sister-in-law. The couple had a tiki bar, a vintage Vespa and uber cute cupcakes, all with added to their Hawaii kitsch theme! Huuuuge thanks to Marina for sharing these with me. I adore them! Husband and wife team James & Bev just sent me these stunning Kikaua Point Beach wedding from May this year. I actually spotted some of these images on one of my many hunts for damn cool weddings and in fact begged them to send me the images of Amanda & Rob's big day. Me? play it cool?...certainly not! The couple had a Don Julio Tequila toast right after they said 'I do' (now I don't really know what this is, but I can only imagine it involved Tequila shots after the vows!) and Amanda wore are beautiful traditional Hawaiian dress called a mu'umu'u as her wedding gown and quite frankly looked stunning. Cyrus & Kiss (I kid you not - cutest names ever!) had a 'the world is our living room' themed engagement shoot. Along with their photographers, they lugged a sofa (actually from the photographer's house!) into the back of a truck and drove to their location. When they got there they only wished they had also brought the TV and maybe a lamp or two to complete the set! Thanks to Paul for sending these to me. Love the album cover feel these have... Anniversary Love

As photographers, Emmy & Aaron are more comfortable being behind the camera then in front, but for their one year anniversary (this week!) they decided they deserved some gorgeous photographs of their own! Emmy told me the whole story: When we took a little anniversary trip to a cabin on Cowichan Lake (Vancouver Island BC Canada) I pulled my dress, by Demetrios, out of the closet and took it with us. We had a great little cabin on the beach and there were some other perfectly decayed old buildings on the property including this great lime green shed. The owner expressed some concern that we were making photos in front of "the biggest eyesore on the property". I think that old shed is perfect!. We met over a conversation about our shared love of photography. Pretty soon we also loved each other and now we love making photographs together. We can't believe how lucky we are that we found each other and that we both have the same passion. I don't let him shoot me that often - I like being behind the camera as much as he does - but putting that dress on tends to let you become somebody else for a while. Doesn't hurt that its my hot hubby behind the camera! Everyone should do this on their anniversary – let those dresses out of the closet girls you look fabulous in them and they want to be seen! You don't have to be a photographer just head out and have some fun! I LOVE my dress and it was soooo much fun wearing it again!! Credit: E/A Photography

I really need to be lying down with some honey and lemon and watching trash on tv as I'm sick...grr I don't do well when I get ill - boredom is not my Forté. I just had to drop by and share a few little images from this Russian engagement session entitled 'Sunset Love Story.' Totally beautiful huh? It's hard to choose, but I think the 'red heart lollypop' one has got to be my favourite. Too gorgeous! The photographer, Mukhina Ekaterina, will actually be touring the states in October/November of this year and would love to meet and photograph some rock n roll couples. Kim & Christian's wedding certainly didn't fit any kind of traditional mould. The bride wore two stunning dresses, the red one for the ceremony and the gorgeous green 'princess dress' for the reception, where they danced and hula hooped on the beach into the wee hours of the morning. Kim's bridesmaids wore dresses that she'd made especially for them and stunning custom hairpieces from Etsy. The handmade invitations and wooden flower bouquet also really added to the uniqueness of this wedding. You're going to love these. Do you this couple as much as I do? I'm sure that's pretty much impossible. The checked shirt-dress, the skateboarding, the cyan/teal old bicycle, the sunglasses, the handstands, the vintage cameras. As photographer Mary Wyer said, they do in fact look like they just stepped out of an Urban Outfitters catalogue and I really really love that shop. Oh yes, I pretty much adore Mary & Scott... Huge thanks to photographer Mary for sharing these, I look forward to seeing more stuff like this as she steps forward and takes her photography in this new pretty damn awesome direction.

I was forwarded Danielle & Jerry's wedding by the lovely Amanda of Vintage Glam. I saw it and I loved it. I also discovered their rocking engagement session so I had to feature these first. Danielle's cute little hair bow, their awesome tattoos (do I sound like a broken record sometimes?) and the almost spooky fun fair location - I love it all. Credit: Steep Street Musings Michael and Juniper had such an adorable session right on East Bay. I am just loving the calming, contemplative, observation-style of these images. Whilst the whole colour and tone effect is super soothing and peaceful, the couple's excitement is out in such abundance that it's kinda infectious. Thanks to the gorgeous Kelty for sharing the lurve!
