John and Lucy were married at Larmer Tree Gardens in Wiltshire in September. They chose it because it had the pretty outside space that they wanted, and they were able to say their vows outside (which isn't always possible in the UK!) in their covered pavilion. "We are both artists, I paint and John is a photographer, and we are both deeply inspired by nature", said Lucy. "I am also borderline obsessed with the vision of an enchanted forest so we wanted our wedding to feel like a blurry childhood memory of a place that was so beautiful and fantastical that you're not sure whether it was real or not. We fell in love with Larmer Tree Gardens the minute we clapped eyes on it. There were peacocks and parrots roaming around so we used a loose theme based on the colours of the peacocks plumage by having the boys in teal and the girls in royal blue."

Kelli and Chris were married in the bride's father's backyard. They wanted their wedding to be super colourful, super laidback and themed around their love of Mexico. Mission accomplished! "I must admit, in the beginning I was all over the place with wedding ideas and styles", began Kelli. "I wanted rose gold and pewter... then a garden theme.... then shiny things... then burlap! I had looked at WAY too many Pinterest boards and was suffering from total wedding ADD. I knew I wanted to be true to myself and have a ton of fun, but never in my wildest dreams did it even come close to reality."

We had a friendship spanning over 10+ years until we both ended up in San Marcos, Texas where our friendship grew into something more. Our ceremony was performed by one of the counsellors from that summer camp!"

When she told me she was getting married, and hosting it in their own back garden, I insisted that she submit it to me afterwards. I'm so thrilled that she did! Emma is now a florist and owns the Green Parlour in Pangbourne, so clearly this wedding was going to be full of beautiful blooms. Just look her her bouquet! Epic or what?!
