Courtney and Aaron wanted a casual wedding, with a relaxed and rustic vibe. They chose The Doyle, a warehouse turned chic industrial venue in downtown Las Vegas for the May wedding, with a very fun addition - the courtyard serves as a working farm where they have a variety of animals, from alpacas to goats to pigs roaming around. Not your average Vegas venue then!Read more...

John and Candy are all about the big gestures, and their wedding was no exception! After reconnecting via Facebook after previous relationships fell apart, their first date was a skydive, where they promised to leave their pasts behind them and jump into their new lives together. When John proposed, they were on a classic rock cruise, with KISS, no less. They watched KISS perform on the stage the night before and John got on the stage the next day to get down on one knee.Read more...

Amy and Josh skipped the formal wedding part for their June celebration, and just hosted one great big party! “We were engaged at Burning Man and have had some of our best memories there,” explained the bride, “we wanted the wedding to be representative of this. We wanted the whole vibe to be care-free, whimsical and colourful. We love bold, crazy patterns so that was the only decor consideration - the brighter the better!”Read more...

As Hilary and Ronnie both work in TV production, it makes perfect sense that their wedding was inspired by one of their favourite shows. “I know 1920s themed weddings are really popular, but we were keen to avoid the ‘Gatsby’ look,” explained Hilary. “I really studied the set design on Peaky Blinders to get a rustic 1920s vintage look with the over the top glitz. We also really wanted our guests to have fun with costumes since we were getting married so close to Halloween, which is our favourite holiday."Read more...

For their October wedding, Faith and Shawn wanted to tie their love of literature (especially, Edgar Allan Poe) with a kind of ethereal, subtly obscure vibe. They used personalisation throughout; in fact, Faith was adamant she didn’t want a traditional wedding at all. Attention to detail was paramount, with no area left untouched.Read more...

Allie and Brian describe their first moments of falling in love as ‘like the same existential self-discovery that so many people waxed lyrical about in the late ’60’s and early 70s’. So, coupled with their love of music from the same era (cosily nestled between the folk and Rock n Roll genres), they used this as a starting point for the shaping their wedding around that same kind of ‘groovy, grounding energy.’Read more...

By Southern standards, Abby and Evan’s wedding was out of the box. But by New York standards, their new adopted home, it was quite traditional, and they loved this about their day. “We wanted to create a wedding that merged our traditional Southern upbringing and our urban and modern New York life. We loved that our guests were able to experience parts of our story and personalities that they may not get to see every day, or haven’t seen in their experience with us.”Read more...

Kate and Ari were inspired by so many things for their August wedding in Detroit; bright colours, flowers from their local market, a neon pink leopard print pillow Kate spotted on Instagram... Interior design hashtags on Instagram also played a big part in the inspo for their day - mostly mid-century modern and postmodern design, as well as maximalism, the 19070s and eclectic style interior design.Read more...

The inspiration behind Kris and Landon's big day was the fact that Kris has never been to a Halloween party... no, really!
