Jane and Joel's wedding was held at Melbourne Zoo. Their ceremony was in the Japanese Garden and their reception in the Rainforest Room! "We wanted our wedding to be fun, colourful and summery", said Jane. "I’ve always loved the glamour of the 1950s-era so our outfits were based on the fashion from that time. We went for a retro carnival theme to fit our venue. The colours were based on the bridesmaid dresses which were light green, coral, red and blue. It was the perfect retro summer palette."

Laura and Andy's August wedding had it's own fun fair! "We wanted an alternative theme but done in a grown up way" said Laura. "When we first got engaged, we sat down to brainstorm all the things that make us ‘us’. We hadn’t been to many weddings, so we were able to let our imagination run wild! Our main viewpoint was that we wanted our guests to come away not just thinking ’that was the best wedding ever’ but ’that was the best day ever!"

Rose gold has definitely become the metal of 2016. It's been all over the high street (from shoes to handbags and everything in between), being used on tech products such as phones and laptops and of course cropping up in more and more costume jewellery too. I can totally see why, it's warmer than white gold or silver, cheaper than platinum and a bit more youthful than yellow gold. It’s somehow wearable yet super luxurious with just a hint of cool all at the same time.
