Brides wearing leather or denim jackets is nothing new (in fact I'd say it's probably one of the 'trends' I see more than anything else these days!) So, when a bride is able to take something we see a lot, twist it on it's head and make it 100% her own, well we are DOWN. That's precisely what Gia did when she married Adam in August. She wore a quite traditional dress but added a twist of 'her' with her custom made jacket by Charlotte Hudson.

Please allow me to be a broken record because HOT DAMNNNN, I am so thrilled with this cover! Nailing a cover-worthy shot is one of the most difficult/ stressful parts of creating a magazine so when we get it this right it fills my heart with JOY! I'm not even going to be modest about it because I literally love it so much. That glittery eye! The fluffy jacket! Her beautiful hair perfectly framing our logo - ugh it's all so good! it's been a while since I've given you any kind of house renovation updates because the reality is.. there hasn't been anything to report! This year has been rather insane on the work-front for me, and Gareth was pretty much wiped out after doing the kitchen in a month (!) so we've been taking a bit of a break from it all. Of course we've done odd-little jobs here and there but nothing really exciting enough to write about.

They met at an alternative bar in Camden, "Not the most romantic setting. I was climbing a pole into the ceiling tiles, he came over interested in what this multicoloured haired ape was doing!" the bride laughed. Samantha and Mike were married in August and they had a few different priorities. They wanted to ensure that they didn't overspend (they rigidly stuck to their £11,000 budget), and they wanted the day to feel like them. They were hitched at Southwick D-Day Memorial Hall, which isn't a licensed wedding venue (so they did the legal bit a few days before) meaning they had a lot of freedom to do what they wanted on the day itself and it only cost them £750 to hire it for the whole weekend!

Jamie and Michael had two very different wedding celebrations -  a small family-focused event in the scorching heat in Malaga and a second a few weeks later, for all the rest of their friends and family back home in Belfast... in the rain! Robyn and Ash were legally married in Vegas at the Chapel of the Flowers but they wanted to host a big party when they got back to Yorkshire for all their family and friends. The party had a really low key, retro and kitsch vibe, hosted at their local community centre. The flowers came from a local flower market, the cakes were from various supermarkets and the stationery was made by the bride. Instead of a fancy meal they served wood-fired pizza and the night ended with - who else? - an Elvis impersonator!

For their winter wedding, Trixie and Sam were inspired by the resident pigs at their venue, South Farm in Cambridgeshire. As soon as they found out about them they decided that they had to incorporate them into the theme of the day. All the tables were named after different species with their own facts on the table markers. They added a tattoo/ rockabilly element with their choice of cake, place settings and the temporary tattoo station which was a huge hit with the guests.
