Island. The space provided the perfect canvas for their winter wedding, the style of which was influenced by other weddings they'd attended as well as wanting day that suited the season but didn't feel to festive or themed. They were married on December 7th.Read more...

This is a bit of a different kind of feature for us, but one I really hope you find inspiring and helpful. We were submitted this photo shoot by wedding photographer Emmy Gaines of Searching for the Light. She wanted to shoot a real couple and to show that even if someone has a disability they can still live their life to the fullest. So often, less able-bodied people are ignored by the wedding industry (thankfully this is slowly changing!) but on Rock n Roll Bride we want to champion the fact that EVERY BODY deserves to get married, to have the same wonderful experience and to be treated respectfully by their suppliers and vendors.Read more...

Samantha and Jason didn't want a colour scheme, they didn't want a big fuss and they certainly didn't want their wedding to overtake their lives. So instead of taking the traditional route, they decided to rent an AirBnB in Joshua Tree and have a low key yet perfectly 'them' wedding in the desert. Both lovers of this environment, they've spent many vacations exploring places such as Joshua Tree, Mojave, Red Rock and Death Valley. OK friends, we need to talk about this cover because it fills my heart with so much joy I CAN NOT contain myself! Shot as part of the Rock n Roll Bride x Little Mistress campaign (which launches on March 11th!) this may just be my favourite cover ever. I am just obsessed with the juxtaposition of the softness of the image but with our babing model Elisabetta looking fierce as hell. Please excuse me for one second while I FREAK OUT over this wedding. Seph and Jason completely epitomise what Rock n Roll Bride is all about, and no it doesn't matter one little bit that there's no 'bride' in sight! The single thing that makes this wedding awesome AF is them... Oh and the fact that Seph wore goddamn crystal embellished stilettos for the day and looked way better in them than most women I know... Bethnal Green's Town Hall Hotel is a real hidden gem. From the original art deco interiors, the dramatic marble staircases, original wooden panelled rooms and their very own ceremony chambers, its the perfect spot for the wedding of East London-loving urban dwellers. The entire place has been sympathetically restored in its original art deco finery so stepping through those grand front doors really is a little bit like stepping back in time.Read more...

It's no massive surprise that the right music and entertainment at a wedding is CRUCIAL to have a party that goes off with a bang. However if you're not the kind of people that go to a lot of gigs and you don't happen to have a DJ BFF, it can be difficult to know how to find people to perform at your wedding. We had a terrible band at our wedding over a decade ago because we simply didn't give the choosing of them enough time and attention (I actually think my parents went to a wedding where they played and said they were 'alright' so we we're like "Sure, lets just book them and get it ticked off our list". Holly and Simon go to a lot of gigs and festivals together, so they wanted to incorporate this into their September wedding. Making things as colourful and fun as possible was their main priority - they wanted a festival-esque party with a carousel, cassettes, live music and fresh flowers.
