There is SO MUCH you're going to love about Helen and Joel's bright and eclectic wedding... least of all the incredible burlesque (boy-lesque!) performance that was a total surprise for the bride and groom! They were inspired by all the things that love the most: Colour, Star Wars, beer and crafts, and they did oodles of DIY. From the paper flowers to the bouquets, the flower wall to the custom stationery and signs, all of it was homemade.

Meet Tesni and Andrew: Married on May 4th, they had small touches of Star Wars throughout the day, but also included their other favourite movies and novels (lots of Terry Pratchett!) in the table names and decorations. The pregnant bride chose to wear blue as a nod to their son who was due two months after the wedding… And, even better, she found it for £500 in a closing down sale!

When returned to his friends, she noticed he’s left his number on a napkin and although this has happened to her before, he was the first one she ever wanted to follow up with! They became friends first, bonding of their mutual love of horror and anything spooky. They’d get together regularly to watch scary movies, but only as friends. Then, a few years later, on a road trip to Vegas it became more than that… And the rest, as the old cliché goes, is history.

The couple wanted to celebrate Tess joining their family, so with the help of daughter Ivy they had a gothic styled, handfasting vow renewal in the same place they were originally married, Whistlewood Common in Derbyshire.

However it turns out that models Aida and Ismeal are a real couple, and the emotions you see in these INCREDIBLE pictures are 100% real... even if they didn't officially get hitched. This is a bit of a bittersweet feature today as the bride, Kathy, is battling breast cancer and is currently in her final few days. As Kathy's heath had taken a bad turn, and after twelve years together, the couple decided to finally do everything they ever wanted to do with whatever time they have left, including getting married. They were married on 17th May in a day full of love, colour and punk rock!. They planned their utterly bad ass day with just a £2000 budget and a hell of a lot of love and support from all their friends and family.

Married on the bride's family's farm, Levon and Casey had a summer wedding that was full of their favourite things: Colour, dinosaurs and legalised marijuana! Casey designed and made so much for the wedding, even designed own dress. She created the succulent pattern, had it printed and then assembled the dress herself. She used the same patterned fabric for the wedding party's outfits and Levon's tie.

This has got to be the epitome of getting away from all the stress of planning a big fancy wedding! Haley and Brendan opted to fly to Bali with their two babies and get married under the beautiful Tibumana waterfall. They wrote their own vows, popped some champagne and they were done! They legally sealed the deal when they got back home to Canada after their trip.
