Lovers of Halloween and spooky-yet-kid-friendly things like A Nightmare Before Christmas, The Haunted Mansion and Hocus Pocus, Amanda and Greg always wanted to get married on Halloween - 31/10/2020 to be exact. Dan and Cara's woodland wedding ceremony was pulled together in just 24 hours! Having their big summer wedding postponed for obvious reasons, they changed their plans to have a smaller wedding in November. However, then a second lockdown was announced just two days before they were due to get married, it meant their previously COVID-secure wedding was now a no-go too! With the help of the wedding planner at Cheshire Woodland Weddings, the registrars and their families, they re-arranged everything in just one day and were able to have their 13-guest ceremony on November 7th.Read more...

Originally budgeting $5,000 for their June wedding, as they had to change their plans due to the pandemic, Sayer and Philip actually only ended up spending $2,000! They were inspired by nature and the most important part for them was the ceremony. It was held at Big Bear National Forest in California and they hired their friend of seven years, Priestess Shannon Farley-Schonland, to officiate.Read more...

Like most couples who wed last year, Kayla and William had to make some big changes in order to have a small pandemic-friendly wedding. They were originally planning a big, country club wedding for August, which has now been postponed to 2021. However as the pair have lived apart for 4 1/2 years of their five year relationship (the groom lived in Ohio and the bride in New York), they just wanted to be married already. Unintentionally, Vicky and Jake's September became vintage London themed because they wanted to show off the city that they love. They chose Chelsea Old Town Hall as both their ceremony and reception venue, booked a vintage double decker red bus and planned their photos around some of the most iconic tourist attractions. Décor and theme wise they did keep things pretty simple, choosing simple DIY floral arrangements that let the venue be the star of the show.Read more...

Brad and Joolz chose 27th July 2019 for their wedding so didn't think they'd have to worry about the weather... however the universe had other ideas! Despite having a mostly outdoor day planned, and it being scorching hot the week before, it chucked it down all day. OK hear me out, while 2020 sucked in many, MANY ways, also, it was kind of amazing. We got to spend time at home, we started to appreciate the small things, we realised just how lucky we are to have the NHS and we got to revaluate what is really important to us, too. Lexi and Tom chose Islington Town Hall and Green Rooms, a local bar/ hotel, as the locations for their November 2021 wedding.
