Ryan always wanted to get married in Vegas and luckily for him, when he ran it by his fiancé Beth she was up for it too! They travelled from New Zealand with 20 of their closest friends and family - 8 of them even went with them on the honeymoon to Hawaii! "Beth is a full time burlesque entertainer and lounge singer and my background is in theatre too, although I'm now mainly a web designer", explained the groom. "I really wanted to get married in Las Vegas, so Beth chose the date to fall on her 25th birthday, I think so I couldn't possibly forget either event ever."

Two very exciting things happened this week. On Wednesday my best friend from Uni came to stay. I haven't seen her in SO LONG (like, a criminally long time) and it was bloody amazing to hang out. You know those friends who even if you don't see each other for ages when you finally do it's like no time has past? That's exactly what it's like with Carly. I'm so happy to have her in my life. We drank cocktails, went shopping, we played The Logo Board Game (nerd and proud!) ... But the most exciting thing was that she asked me to be her bridesmaid!! Can you believe I've never been one before? Ahh double excitement!

Bianca and Richard's wedding was held on Big Bay Beach in Cape Town. This was very definitely a family affair with the bride's mother making the stationery and helping Bianca fold all those paper origami flowers, and both her parents helping with the catering. Most of the reception décor was borrowed from people they knew or bought cheaply in China Town.
