When Daria slipped into a vintage Mark Ingham gown, everything suddenly made sense. The dress fit as if it had been made for her, and with that, all the uncertainty about how and where to celebrate their wedding disappeared. She and Kaleb had considered everything from a formal church ceremony to an elopement in the mountains, but none of it had felt quite right. The dress, however, made the decision for them. They would marry at San Francisco City Hall and end the night in their own way at the Phoenix Hotel.

When Isabella and Russell (who you might recognise from Fallout!) matched on an online dating app, they found out they were born only five days apart, attended the same college, and even shared the last four digits of their phone numbers! There’s coincidence and there’s fate, and they agreed their connection falls under the latter. Believing their two late Italian grandmothers were conspiring from beyond, they deemed it imperative to meet again the next day. They did and never looked back. Just over a year later, Russell took Isabella to see the winter illumination at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, where they had gone on one of their first dates. He popped the question, and when she said yes, he swept her away to a surprise party to celebrate with their families.

Anna told us, "We spoke about getting married for the first time while we were in Morocco last year. As we were finishing, we were playing with the red wires holding the bags of flatbreads together, bent them into rings, and went on to wear them for weeks until they broke. They would be replaced with red string, and later, red line tattoos. We later found out about the red string of fate story which says you have a string running from your heart, out of your finger, connecting you to your soulmate."

Moody November Wedding at a Gothic New York Mansion

The Cardinals

January 22, 2025

Meghan and Chris’s November wedding was held at a gothic style mansion in the Catskills, New York. They were entranced by the venue, which was filled with rich history, and stunning woods surrounding it. They really tried to make it their own; the first dance, for example, was done behind a curtain with a spotlight so their 75 guests could only see their silhouettes. They also had a tarot card reader as an option for guests who didn't want to dance in the evening.
