“Must. Remember. To. Breathe” I thought as I looked through this amazing set of images sent over by Gabby of En Route Photography last week.
It’s not just beause bride-to-be Bonnie is utterly stunning…and has blue hair…and is rocking that amazing 80’s dress like nobody’s business… but just check out the LIGHT! The relatively simple rooftop backdrop (in Berlin no less) is the perfect location for such a breathtaking bridal shoot.
Bonnie is getting married next year and brought along her own vintage dress for the shoot (oh boy I really hope she wears this for her actual wedding day.) “The shoot had a real 80’s feel to it,” Gabby told me.
“I felt like I was shooting Madonna from like a prayer! We were aiming to capture some pretty, more conventional and some out of the ballpark images with the cigarette and Peter the porcelain tiger.”
Thank you so much to Gabby, Bonnie and the whole team for sharing this incredible shoot with us today.
Be sure to check out the awesome behind the scenes video too…
You guys have to go check out Bonnie’s blog too, it’s really funny!

A photo shoot featuring the Rock n Roll Bride planning notebooks!? Oh yes that's one sure-fired way to get my attention!
"We styled the whole shoot ourselves using items from eBay (and of course the Rock n Roll Bride notebook," photographer Jaye of Tux & Tales Photography told me. "We decided we would do a few styled shoots ourselves on a shoestring budget. I think it is a great way to show brides that they can have a fun and fab style with a little pocket change and a lot of elbow grease. I hope you enjoy my ultra-rad millinery. Picture me sitting on the living room floor, feathers flying everywhere whilst my cat tries to run off with the hat in his mouth every time I turn around to get another feather. The bouquet I made myself out of crepe paper. Boo (our model) is a burlesque performer so she did her own hair & make up!"

This session is way to awesome! When I opened the initial email from photographer Stephanie, I gasped. "Is that the real Dolly Parton?!"
"It sure is," came the response, "My lovely friend Rebecca was married last month in Gatlinburg, TN. Before her wedding, we did a very special photoshoot with her Aunt Dolly at a family home in Sevierville. Since Dolly is not only Rebecca’s aunt, but also her godmother, Rebecca had the idea to do a shoot where Dolly acts as her fairy godmother, who has come to get her ready for her big day. Here is the story for you to enjoy!"

London wedding photographer Ann Charlotte set up this morning's editorial shoot in order to showcase an idea she'd had running through her head for a while. "I love fairytales and this fictional fairytale wedding/fashion shoot was inspired by Alice in Wonderland and the idea of a runaway bride. I wanted to shoot a misunderstood bride, running away from her wedding in tears. After some soul searching she eventually came back home to a waiting husband-to-be and a reconciliation."

A Simple Bridal Shoot on the Barcelona Hills

August 15, 2012
April in Barcelona. Teresa and film photographer Miguel Varona headed away from the city and up the hills to Montseny natural park to shoot a set of simple bridal portraits. "It wasn't the perfect day", wrote Miquel. "The sun didn't shine, but the atmosphere we had was perfect to recreate the special moments for a bride on her wedding day."
"Teresa wore a leather jacket a boots with her simple dress. 'Why not mix tradition and simplicity?' I thought. 'Why not show that tradition is compatible with personality?'"
