“My inspiration for this shoot came from the bride her name is Alison and she has a pet bunny as well as a cupcake tattoo on her wrist,” photographer Tab McCausland told me. “So when I started to plan doing my first trash the dress photography class I didn’t want it to be just a boring setting. Sooooo we went all out cake, hats, tea pots, a little tuxedo for the bunny, little caterpillar, table set up the works! I think the theme was perfect for the bride and since she had pink and purple hair already it just all came together nicely.”
…And so the idea for an Alice in Wonderland themed trash the dress was born. Although this theme is really popular with brides at the moment (even a year after the movie…can you believe it’s been a year already!?) what I love about this adaptation is the fact that it was based around what the bride loved the most…and of course the bunny rabbit, who could resist him?
Thanks to Tab for sharing these today.

Shooting a bride in water is nothing new, but there was just something about this Lady in the Lake inspired shoot that spoke to me. I love the bride's beautiful blue, green and purple mermaid hair (obviously) and the simple yet edgy styling ideas are pretty damn awesome aren't they? I'd love to see a future real bride carrying a rustic and dramatic bouquet like some of these.

As a girl who's more than slightly obsessed with weddings and photography, there's pretty much nothing more thrilling to me than discovering new (to me) wedding photographer that is INCREDIBLE. It doesn't happen very often, but when it does I feel like I've won the wedding-blogging-lottery. And don't even get me started on what happens when I discover a videographer with as much talent as this. Actual tears people, there were actual tears.

Harnaam is now a body-confidence and anti-bullying activist and she fully embraces her unique look and hopes to encourage others to do the same. So when this bridal shoot using Harnaam as the model was submitted to me I nearly jumped out of my skin with excitement!

Two rockabilly babes, tattoos and seriously cute wedding dresses - what's not to love about this adorable set of images, shot in and around The Custard Factory in Birmingham? "This shoot came about from my vastly growing obsession with polka dots, in all their multicoloured forms", wrote button bouquet creator Emma, who masterminded the whole thing. "Actually, not just mine, but also many of my brides who often want a bit of dottiness in their bouquets! I wanted to create a look that would appeal to and inspire my clients so I set about this little collaboration with some wonderfully talented wedding peeps."

With a bride who's obsessed enough with horses to get three of them tattooed as a chest piece, photographer Catalina Jean knew what the starting point for her next styled bridal shoot had to be.
