“Tony and I have always been into tattoos and are both big pin up girl fans, both classic and modern,” begins Bride Cindy. “Neither of us ever thought we get to have a wedding that truly expressed who we were, and we were soooooo wrong. The tattoo / pin up girl theme was one of the first things we decided on. If we were going to do it, we were going to do it right and really have our own wedding … for us and no one else … we got our wedding tattoos during our engagement photo shoot .”
The pin up and tattoo theme was integrated throughout the wedding – from the pin up style bridesmaid dress to the temporary tattoos. All the bridesmaids were given heart tattoos to wear with their husband’s name in it. Well except for Cindy’s 9 year old niece … her tattoo said “Jacob” (from Twilight!)
Thanks to Tony & Cindy for sharing their wedding on the blog today.

I don't think there's a style of wedding that epitomises a Rock n Roll wedding more than a black, white and red colour scheme and a 1950s theme! Lidia and Joaquín's nuptials were held in La Quinta de Illescas, Toledo, Spain.

I joked on Facebook recently that the way to get blogged on Rock n Roll Bride is clearly to have a cat theme to your wedding, because this is the forth one I've featured in so many weeks (the others are here, here and here)! I stand by my convictions though, cat weddings are awesome. End of discussion.

They were married on the beach at El Pez Tulum, a boutique ocean-front hotel, in Mexico. KO and Bre wanted their wedding to be a beachy pin up fairytale wedding and I think they achieved that wonderfully! The bride wore a vintage dress from the 1950s which she customised and had the skirt redesigned by Georgannette Chatterley. Her birdcage veil was also homemade.

Mr & Mrs Tattooboy’s Heavily Tattooed, Ass Kickin’ Rockabilly Wedding

Do you remember Mr & Mrs Tattooboy? The hot tattooed couple behind one of my favourite ever engagement sessions? Well check it out - they got hitched and I've got the exclusive on their killer wedding. When the couple first met, Kori was a cheerleader and Matt was a rocker and a tattooed artist. They soon fell in love and Kori starting getting just as much ink as her man!
"Kori & Matt’s aka Mr. & Mrs. Tattooboy, have this incredible rockabilly style & then some!!!" photographer Christina told me. "When I asked Kori about the details of her wedding she just told me she wanted it to be different from the normal-cheesy-blah type weddings, this made me really happy that she wasn’t giving in to what everyone else in the world was doing! Their unusual story & love for tattoos & rockabilly style was inspiration enough for these two lovers to plan their wedding."

Daisy and Leigh's retro wedding themed came about because they knew they wanted anything but a traditional day. "We decided to go down the retro/ vintage theme, but I also didn't want it to be the typical ‘vintage’ wedding style that is everywhere at the moment!" Daisy wrote. "I also didn't want a traditional sit-down meal so we had afternoon tea complete with cocktails served in teapots. The wedding eventually became about all of the things we love from the 1950s to the 1990s! I wanted our wedding to be really unpretentious and for everyone to have lots of fun."
