Anyone can have a beautiful wedding if they have an endless budget, but only when you have less to spend do you truly have to flex those creative muscles. Creativity on a budget has always been our jam; we’ve championed a DIY, ‘you-centric’ approach to wedding planning since the inception of our magazine. But – can you believe it? – we’ve never actually had a fully DIY-focused edition! It is time to remedy that immediately.
Inside this issue, not only are we sharing 10 beautiful DIY weddings and articles to help you on your own DIY wedding journey, but our cover shoot was a total budget-conscious DIY project too! Rather than hiring a full team and a fancy location, we shot this on-site at Rock n Roll Bride Live earlier this month. Think a Challenge Anneka-style mad dash around the show to dress the model, find the best light, and shoot the photos. It was absolute madness and so much fun!
