From skydiving over the Nevada desert to a female Elvis-officiated ceremony and spontaneous whiskey bar visits, Gabrielle and Nathan crafted a wedding that perfectly reflected their love.

They described their theme as “Dolly Parton meets Johnny Cash”, and as if getting married in Las Vegas wasn’t enough of an adrenaline rush, they took things to new heights (literally!) by skydiving over the desert at 6am on the morning of the wedding! The best part though? It was supposed to be an elopement just the two of them but their two best friends showed up the day before to surprise them!

The ceremony itself, held at Sure Thing Chapel in the downtown area, was a blend of humor, music and heartfelt moments. Gabrielle walked down the aisle to Can’t Help Falling in Love and they wrote their own vows.

After the ceremony they headed to Horse Trailer Hideout with their photographer, Ashley. “For me, the highlight of the day was straight after the ceremony when we went to a cool bar with our photographer,” the bride said. “We drank beer with the locals, everyone was congratulating us and we had some amazing pictures. I remember slow dancing with Nathan to Chris Stapleton, Tennessee Whiskey. It was one of those moments in life that will stay with me for ever, I felt so so happy, it was like there was nobody else in the room. I’m nearly crying now thinking about it!.”

Gabrielle’s favorite part of the wedding planning process was selecting their outfits. Her wedding dress, a stunning creation from A Star Is Born, paired with white cowboy boots, made her feel amazing. “I am absolutely obsessed with what I wore”, she said. “I felt like a goddess… and Nathan looked pretty damn good too!”

Looking back, Gabrielle and Nathan wouldn’t change a single thing about their wedding day. Every second was filled with love, laughter and pure joy. “Make sure you do everything your way, in your style, for you”, Gabrielle concluded. “Do not listen to what anyone else has to say other than you and your partner, hopefully you’ll only do this once so it’s important it reflects you as a couple, and what you want. People always think about weddings being super elaborate, expensive dos. They can be as cheap or as expensive as you want them to be. It’s all about what you want, there are so many options now to suit everyone’s style, personality and budgets.”
