It’s my utter pleasure to introduce you to Unique Vintage today. Not only do they have a great selection of both authentic vintage and vintage inspired wedding dresses but they have something to suit every budget! Some of my favourites include the little white reception dresses (from $68), the tea length 50’s inspired wedding dresses (from $130) and of course the more sophisticated Audrey Hepburn style dressses (which range from $500 to $1200.)
I have to say, I’ve spent the last hour or so being sucked into their site going “ooh I love that…and that..oh and I really want this!” The dresses are so awesomely gorgeous I’m telling you!
Unique Vintage pride themselves on their unique, hard to find brands and styles that may not be ‘in fashion’ and could be difficult to find elsewhere. Whether it be polka dots, a blue crinoline (for something blue) or a bright pink sash to liven up your wedding dress, they understand what it takes to add some Rock n Roll to your wedding day… so why not let them!?
Thanks to all the guys at Unique Vintage for taking part today.

If there's one thing I love more than anything about running this blog and my magazine, it's that I have the opportunity to share with you some truly amazing and utterly creative wedding suppliers that might not be included in more mainstream publications.
Brighton based designer Louise O'Mahony of Oh My Honey falls squarely into that camp. I first discovered her when I featured this amazing snow queen shoot that she not only supplied the dresses for, but modelled in too (that's her with the blue hair!) and I quickly fell in love with her colourful, whimsical, 1950s inspired wedding dresses.

Vintage has become a bit of a dirty word in the wedding world. It's been overdone more than any trend' I've ever known... and in many cases pretty badly. But vintage weddings as a concept are beautiful and some of the most creative and beautiful weddings that I've featured have fallen under that 'vintage' banner. In fact vintage weddings are not limited to pearls, lace and mismatched crockery - they can be so much more than that, the only limit is your imagination.can be so much more than that, the only limit is your imagination.

One of my favourite things to do is to walk through The Laines in Brighton and gaze lovingly at all the stunning pre-loved jewellery in the shop windows. You have to wonder about the person that owned those pieces beforehand, what their life was like and when they wore it. It's all very romantic really.

Under the Spotlight – Kjrsten Madsen Photography

Today I'd like to introduce you to the photography of Kjrsten Madsen. Over the past few months I've been rediscovering my love of film photography and so it really is an honour to share these images with you all. Our wedding photos were shot on film, and although this wasn't really a concious decision at the time, looking back there really is a huge amount of joy that I get from knowing that these images were imprinted on a physical roll of film and developed by hand in a darkroom.
