Dina & Gary’s 1920’s vaudeville carnival themed wedding makes me wanna squeal. I wish wish wish we’d done something as fabulous as this when we got hitched. The wedding took place at Asbury Park, New Jersey and the pair really went to town with their theme – from popcorn and candy for the guests, a sideshow performance, goldfish in bowls… in fact everything you might expect to find at a carnival! Dina wore a custom dress (made by a friend ) and wore jewellery and carried a candy bouquet made by another friend Melissa Heid .
Just. Wow.
Thanks to Brandi for sharing this awesome day with us. Woooo!

Liz and Bryan were married at the famous Madonna Inn in California. The day was a beautiful mish-mash of a vintage candy store and a retro tattoo shop. "We really wanted to keep our wedding upbeat and light-hearted", wrote the bride. "I think the temporary tattoos, candy, giant wood cut outs and photo booth helped create a really fun environment. Halfway through the night the photo booth props became a part of the wedding and we had groomsmen in capes and dresses as the Hulk and Spiderman on the dance floor. It made the pictures hilarious."

I joked on Facebook recently that the way to get blogged on Rock n Roll Bride is clearly to have a cat theme to your wedding, because this is the forth one I've featured in so many weeks (the others are here, here and here)! I stand by my convictions though, cat weddings are awesome. End of discussion.

Mr & Mrs Tattooboy’s Heavily Tattooed, Ass Kickin’ Rockabilly Wedding

January 7, 2011
Do you remember Mr & Mrs Tattooboy? The hot tattooed couple behind one of my favourite ever engagement sessions? Well check it out - they got hitched and I've got the exclusive on their killer wedding. When the couple first met, Kori was a cheerleader and Matt was a rocker and a tattooed artist. They soon fell in love and Kori starting getting just as much ink as her man!
"Kori & Matt’s aka Mr. & Mrs. Tattooboy, have this incredible rockabilly style & then some!!!" photographer Christina told me. "When I asked Kori about the details of her wedding she just told me she wanted it to be different from the normal-cheesy-blah type weddings, this made me really happy that she wasn’t giving in to what everyone else in the world was doing! Their unusual story & love for tattoos & rockabilly style was inspiration enough for these two lovers to plan their wedding."

Insane Italian Vintage Circus Wedding: Michelangelo & Francilla

Unlike so many Italian weddings that they'd been to before, Michelangelo and Francilla wanted a day that was big, ridiculous and most of all fun! They went for a vintage circus theme, and oh boy, they really did go all out on the theme! Francilla told me all about it, "In Italy it’s quite impossible to have a different wedding and not do everything traditionally. It’s so hard to get away from the 'rules' that everyone says you have to obey, but we worked hard to make sure we did! We would have never been happy to marry in this way, and luckily our families knew it!"
