…and all things nice!
What a sweet wedding this seems to be. The couple appear to have set up a sudo cake shop that they have been photographed in – I only wish there were more photographs of this for me to share.
Quite apart from the confection, I simply adore these bridesmaids attire, especially the fantastic umbrellas, gloves and hair pieces. I have to say, with my hair being so fuschia in colour I never wear blue, but these photographs may have just convinced me that pink and blue can in fact be worn together. Now I feel the need to shop..oh Gareth will be pleased!

The bride wore a full face of geisha-style face paint, her dress was splattered with it (which she did herself), they painted each other as part of the ceremony and they had an artist on hand to do their guests too!

Jay and Wisia had a Pagan ceremony in the woods. They wanted their wedding theme to be folklore and fantasy inspired without being too cheesy.
"There’s a fine line between themed and fancy dress", laughed the bride. "Our special day was a cross between Viking and Elvish visual themes with elements of Pagan."

You might think that there's nothing more traditional in English weddings than a country garden setting, but Abby and Hoi's big day was anything but quaint! They took the traditional elements and turned them on their head. From the bride's short polka dot dress and purple hair, to the Hello Kitty cake and the vintage ice cream cart for dessert, this was a wedding that was quintessentially 'them'.

Ben and Roo wanted their big day to feel like 'them'. So they enlisted the help of friends and family to hand craft the wedding of their dreams! "Our theme was 'nature meets colorful meets elegant meets comfortable!" began the bride. "I was a circus performer for ten years and Ben has been a rigger for his whole professional life. Our friends are eclectic and multi-skilled and they all pitched in. It made a blank slate of a venue become a colorful tapestry of strings of circus lights, people on stilts, colorful guests, chandeliers hanging from trees and an amazing electro-swing dance party!"

An English Enchanted Forest Wedding

John and Lucy were married at Larmer Tree Gardens in Wiltshire in September. They chose it because it had the pretty outside space that they wanted, and they were able to say their vows outside (which isn't always possible in the UK!) in their covered pavilion.
"We are both artists, I paint and John is a photographer, and we are both deeply inspired by nature", said Lucy. "I am also borderline obsessed with the vision of an enchanted forest so we wanted our wedding to feel like a blurry childhood memory of a place that was so beautiful and fantastical that you're not sure whether it was real or not. We fell in love with Larmer Tree Gardens the minute we clapped eyes on it. There were peacocks and parrots roaming around so we used a loose theme based on the colours of the peacocks plumage by having the boys in teal and the girls in royal blue."
