I have a little two part-er for you right now. Omar & Junela gothic engagement and Rock n Roll wedding were both so awesome I had to share them together - first up the ridiculously inspiring engagements. The editing is big, brash and in your face, but I think it really works with the gothic theme of this session. I am in actual LOVE!

Chihye & Tom's LA engagement speaks volumes of their love. From the simple moments between these two to the beautiful field full of ruby red heart balloons - what's not to love about these?
It would appear that photographer Chrissy agrees with me "I don’t know if I have the words to accompany these photos. They truly speak for themselves. A couple so deeply and genuinely in love mixed with God’s beauty creates the most gorgeous moments. Chihye and Tom are another one of my kindful couples, our first meeting lasted hours over Sangria and Cuban food. The longer I do my job the more I believe in soulmates and magic." "Angelo and I were super lucky to have design/photography duo Everywhere We Shoot on board to do our prenup photography," bride-to-be Rin writes. "These guys are friends who frequent the same gigs, art spaces, and thrift shops that we go to. Their philosophy has always been to keep doing and creating, not for money, but just because they love what they do. And knowing that we were on a budget-DIY-wedding, they agreed to do a pro bono engagement shoot for us in a heartbeat. I was also blessed to have a former schoolmate slash band groupie of mine, Kitty Caragay, do my make-up."

This Filipino duo have been pushing my buttons ever since I first discovered them waaaaay back at the beginning of 2009. Their work continues to inspire me to this day. Why? Because they're continually pushing themselves to create. Their work has evolved - almost into a completely different beast - but the essence of unadulterated and unapologetic creativity has remained a constant.

I do love winter wedding inspiration, but more than that, I love winter inspiration that's a little bit more edgy. Gothic even. To me, winter is the perfect opportunity to embrace your dark side.
And for their engagement shoot, Adriana & xx wanted to to just that as well. "I wanted to really go all out and embodied the darker side of us for our engagement shoot", Adriana explained. "We really weren't trying to be 'dark', we were just trying to be true to us. My fiancé is a musician and I am a event creative director, so I really wanted our passions to be apparent in this shoot. I wanted to create an enchanting feeling and our own little creative fantasy."
