I actually can’t get enough of Josephine Sicad ‘s photography. Not only does each frame have that darling vintage tone to it, but every image just oooozes love…like you can tell how much she adores her work from the photographs alone…does that make sense or am I rambling again? The images also have that ‘cinematic quality that I’ve always adored, like the boys of MangoRED before her, Josephine’s image appear as if they could have been plucked right from a movie about a love story.
Go check out her Facebook Fan Page for more more more of this set!
Thanks again to the ever lovely and wonderful Josephine for sharing these with me…I may be your new biggest fan!
ps have you voted for your favourite couple to win the Love Me Do Free Wedding Photography contest yet? If not get on it – as always itis going to be a very close call!

I have a little two part-er for you right now. Omar & Junela gothic engagement and Rock n Roll wedding were both so awesome I had to share them together - first up the ridiculously inspiring engagements. The editing is big, brash and in your face, but I think it really works with the gothic theme of this session. I am in actual LOVE!
Thanks to Jomel for sharing. Your work is amazing and so different. Love love love

‘Til Death Do Us Party Wedding Shoot: Angelo & Rin
Kat
July 22, 2011
"Angelo and I were super lucky to have design/photography duo Everywhere We Shoot on board to do our prenup photography," bride-to-be Rin writes. "These guys are friends who frequent the same gigs, art spaces, and thrift shops that we go to. Their philosophy has always been to keep doing and creating, not for money, but just because they love what they do. And knowing that we were on a budget-DIY-wedding, they agreed to do a pro bono engagement shoot for us in a heartbeat. I was also blessed to have a former schoolmate slash band groupie of mine, Kitty Caragay, do my make-up."

Honestly? I'm not going to pretend that I really understand this shoot... but for some reason I just really love it. It must be the weird juxtaposition between designer handbags, shoes on a roof, giant bunnies and bondage... and hell, I'm not adverse to a bit of randomness!

It may be a massive generalisation, but in my experience no-one does engagement shoots like those creative folks in The Philippines. It's very rare that I featured these kinds of shoots any more, but when I'm presented with something like this, there is no way I'm going to turn it down!

A Boxing Engagement: Jmie & KC

June 29, 2012
I have another amazing engagement shoot from Rex of WeDoItForLove for you this morning. I've said it before and I'll say it again - no-one does engagement shoots like those Filipino wedding photographers!
Jmie & KC love contact sports, particularly boxing, so theming their shoot around this was a really fun way for them to celebrate their engagement. "People usually choose themes where they will look really beautiful", Rex told me. "So it was really awesome that they chose a theme that's was a bit gritty and less beautiful. It also didn't need so much styling as they already owned all the kit. The shoot was devised around the 'actions' which made it really fun to do."

When this Baby Hits 88 mph…

Marty McFly: Wait a minute, Doc. Ah... Are you telling me that you built a time machine... out of a DeLorean?
Dr. Emmett Brown: The way I see it, if you're gonna build a time machine into a car, why not do it with some style?
Back to the Future is my favourite movie. Like ever...I am also quite partial to the sequels and am still convinced that in 5 years time we will all have hover boards. I even have a die-cast Delorean on my windowsill that Gareth got me one Christmas...yes I am that much of a geek.
So when I saw this engagement shoot starring my ultimate dream car (shh don't tell the Honda outside) well there was no way I wasn't going to feature it!
"I was shooting this couple at an airport with their plane and some dude came out of the hangar and said that we should use his Delorean" photographer Carl told me. "I was like, YES AND YES! It was epic!"
